Finally won! :D Took longer than I thought. I underplayed the value of traps, thinking they were a one-time thing just like the Exterminator, and tried just investing as much as possible at first to then bash away all pests at once... still can't wait too long before you start dealing with the problem though. At first it seemed a bit like an Idle game, but seems you really can't be too idle either. Simple idea, and good execution, with a pretty balanced array of upgrades, crisp pixel graphics and a difficulty level just on the edge for not-too-aggravating-or-time-consuming. :) First LD40 game I play this year, and it's a great start! Nice work.

Thank you! I really appreciate the review and I'm glad you liked it!

It's a fun twist to the original Snake game, though takes a looong time before you start gathering speed... and even then it feels a bit slow. I feel like it'd be easier to replay if the speed-up process was a bit faster, and then you could avoid green ones too if you feel like it's getting too much. The medals also don't seem to be unlocking properly - I was well past a million and yet that medal remains... and the highscore doesn't seem to be registered either. Some kind of time-out issue? Since it does take a while to get that far...

I think you need to refresh the page to see your medals and the highscore registers when you die. I did fix the medal issue.
I will test it again though.
Thanks.
Edit: Medals and scoreboards fixed

I like the idea, though the game itself feels a bit imbalanced! Even from the first level the 'boss' moves faster than you, and seems to catch up to the ball with ease even when it bounces off the square in the middle, whereas the player has a hard time catching it if it goes the wrong way. I also wish you could catch the ball with the corner of your paddle to have it bounce the other way and hopefully surprise the AI. Graphically it´s a bit limited too, though the style does go well with the classic Pong games, so if that's intentional I can see the intention. :)

I like the idea, and the upgrades, but feels like either the AI is a bit too good, or it takes a bit too much grind to start playing against it, even at the very first stage. Good idea, though, and thanks for fixing the bug!

Thanks for the long review :)

To be honest levels from 1-4 can be beaten without any upgrade. You must find the right position and time to launch the ball. But uploaded a little easier version, bonus speed, Mr.white size smaller and death bonus now 5$ instead of 3$.

I hope it will be more enjoyable now :)

Lots of characters to choose from here! :D Fun with a big selection of both backgrounds and faces, though the gameplay itself is a bit hard, and varies with the differently-sized characters. Maybe a hit area slightly smaller than the character for each one would make it feel 'just right' when you clear the spikes by a thin margin? Otherwise nice game.

Thanks for the feedback. Already working on what you mentioned.

A simple, but very polished and fun game! I like how one mode unlocks after the other, each with something new, and none that take too hard to complete. Upgrades are fully optional, and the endless mode awaits if you want to take aim at the highscores, though the one thing missing feels like instructions. When you start out there's nothing saying it's not a regular game, and you should try out the power-ups while they're available. When you reach the menu, there's nothing telling you to complete one stage at a time. No 'lock' symbol or similar to make this intuitive, either. It's nice that you learn as you go otherwise, but a guiding start would've been good. Overall: nice game! Easy to get into, and easy to keep playing-

Thank you Cyberdevil for your helpful feedback i will consider add all what you said in your comment in our next update

This was pretty cool! I like the slanted top-down view, and the beastly transformation. The speed felt a bit fast at first, but you get used to it. Good to know there's a tolerable amount of levels too so you can actually complete it, unlike the originals. The one thing I feel is missing is some kind of timer for the beast mode, so you know when yours is running out - and you should stay away from enemies (some kind of blinking thing, or sound, or something to let you know). Would also love to see medals with this game! Nice work.

Thanks for your comment and ratings. Well, when the ears dissapear the beest is gone and you should run away from the ghosts.

Really wish this game had medals for the achievements, via the NG API! I remember playing a similar type of game on my cellphone back in the day, but this is that concept taking to a whole new levels, with not just a beautiful interface but beautiful game design overall, colorful, ambient, stylish - it's a pleasure to play, and though even 'advanced levels' aren't really all that advanced as long you follow the edges and see the patterns, it's fun, catchy and rewarded, and with so many levels there's no doubt some more challenging ones along the line. Game design's perfect in every way! Also with both online and local saves. Would love some site-tied incentive to really complete it 100%. Nice work.

Wow, what a review!
Thank you so much!

I am planning to transfer the game to mobiles in a few months.

So this is where it all started! :D I like the idea, but the mechanics... man, just jumping up the stairs proved a challenge, and when you're walking and trying to jump at the same time it doesn't really work, not to mention if you run into the hole in the floor the level doesn't restart, it just keeps going without you in it. Reloading multiple times as once was a bit weird, but maybe you get used to that.

I like the crisp pixel design, and Doop (assuming that's the main character's name) seems like an interesting dude, but it's not as smooth as it could be. Good start though. Design's good, but mechanics... not so polished.

berdthenerdy responds:

Thank you for you review, but there are no holes or stairs, so I have no idea what you are talking about. It is meant to be isometric, maybe you thought it was 2d?

Looks promising, though can't really figure out what to do. How to shoot? How to enter a car? There's no reference as to which keys to use, and out of nowhere two guys show up and start chasing you. Seems promising but a bit incomplete.

Bartolomasi responds:

Use the arrow keys to move the player, use the (R) key to enter the vehicle, use the key (X) to shoot, use the key (M) to open the missions, use the key (1) and (2) To change weapons, use the key (S) to save and the key (L) to load saved game, the missions are in Portuguese

This game is still incomplete, it's just a DEMO

A smooth but pretty basic platformer! Could use some level numbers at least, and sound sound/music would be nice. Keep it going!

Jadonstudio responds:

i like the idea for sound but when ever i try to import it it just say it cant read the music file
