Mmm I think this one turned out great though, sense of obligation or no, hopefully you still feel like you're improving with 'em, even if it's an established style at least these recent ones have IMO felt hella polished. Some of the earliest were maybe all the more ambitious, I don't know, but this doesn't feel lazy at all, feels complete; like you're really putting everything into every one lately...

The scratchin' and stuff with the second half in particular here was really good. I believe you asked F-o-D how he did a similar thing with one of his grooves earlier, curious if you got a response there; if this could be based on that? Or your own approach? How do YOU do that? It reminds me a bit of Linkin Park's Hahn type scratchin' from the Re-Animation era. Very cool.

Keep it up dude! Almost at the finish and still deliverin' quality content 100%!

If you think this is easy you really have mastered the craft man. :D It doesn't sound easy!

I love the coolness the sound has to it too, that icy nature of it all, with ParagonX9 or chainsaw_09 too I always really liked those tracks the most, something about the high notes; the crispness and clarity and soothing nature of it all... I love the style.

Both atmospheric and energetic.

Oh this was FIRE! In the coolest way. The longer it goes the more I'm jumping in my seat, with the dnb and jittery beat, feast for the knees, feel of the freeze, a little violin-like streak of defeat in the background, although the race goes on, the chase; the crazy pace to the finish...

Though it's not super long it really feels complete too; really goes through the stages on the way. Transitions seamlessly. Keeps bopping. Stays ferocious too. This is the kind of music I could be making things to (I mean like actually getting some work done, whatever the due, proper audial fuel)... and it sounds new!

One of my favorites so far this year! VERY NICE.

The angriness does not show though, I thought... oh there it comes. XD

Such a fascinating mixture of ambience and aggressiveness, though even the ambient parts seem to have a somewhat higher tempo than usual, amping up the sense of distress a bit in advance... feels like the dnb bit sound's a little muddled maybe, but then again that probably just ups the sense of aggression too.

Also interesting Asian/Middle Eastern kind of flare on that main melody, flows together nicely...

This was soulful! Wonderful work y'all! Though a little short... it's almost like an introduction.

Y'know, little personal jingles like this would be a very cool thing in podcast intros, if they don't take too long to make hmm...

Dang man you managed this in just fifteen minutes?! Your time use is impressive...

Though when you said 'cheap ambient track' I wasn't expecting the ambience to be fully this ambient I must admit, kept waiting for the shift, or the jump, or something... it didn't. XD I am intrigued how you actually make something like this though, technically, it keeps reverberating for so long, is there no limit to reverberation, could you theoretically have something like this just play endlessly, a single note to infinity... but then I wonder how simple it is; how much nuance there is to keeping the sound alive after all, it seems there's more than one layer but I can't really break the structure apart; hear individual ones... actual white noise/atmospheric kind of ambience in back + synth?

Glad you didn't take the L man. :) This was interesting... and not bad either, soothing, simple albeit.

Hmm no description on this one? The music does speak for itself for sure but curious as to what stories and/or impressions, experiences or emotions accompany the tune...

Jumpy, smooth, a little chaotic but with underlying exuberant groove anywho!

You really set the bar high for yourself man. :) This wasn't bad at all IMO, though maybe not the catchiest ditty you've done, after the minute mark it somehow feels a little more hesitant, like the energy's dying down, resolve waning, and then it really does, so maybe that's an intentional de-escalation with the main melody too... love the dnb and slowdown at the end otherwise, may be you're just stretching it out for time but it sounds awesome.

Hey had you done Jamuary some other year? I was sure you had, not seeing it in your profile though so maybe not huh... if you live in a part of the world where January's mid-winter it feels like an even bleaker time for a challenge, I don't know if I could manage that one myself, but Tunetober... you can do it man! You are doing it!!! Some days are good; some days less so, that's just how it goes, just know every single one of these so far has been at the minimum hella creative and enjoyable.

It was mostly to stretch the song out because I was out of ideas, but it's also am expression of how I'm slowing down and running out of steam.

I never participated in Jamuary, I was thinking about doing it next year, but I'm tired boss 😅 Don't really want my tracks getting buried by everyone else's dailies. You and I are the only fellas I know doing tunetober, so it feels more special <3 And yes, the cold is depressing and leaves me devoid of energy. Minnesota gets it baaad x.x
