Well apart from the long wait in finding an opponent (I guess timezones aren't working to my advantage here) it was a fun game, simple, totally overpowering and impossible to win but still a short and intense play. Good luck with that bigger project!

well it's rock paper scissor :) it,s luck and a bit of psychology really

Starts getting harder after ten levels. It took me a while to realize that thing that you only need to press left or right to wall jump (took till I read the description in search for clues), but it actually makes the gameplay simpler, even if it's a bit a confusing configuration at first. I like the simple level design, even if I was expecting more simplicity even with the latter levels. For the yellow door, it looks like the character's moving in behind it rather than through it. The ambient soundscape in the background's real nice. Keep it going!

Thanks for the feedback. If you have any ideas of how to make the "you only need to press left and right to wall jump" more obvious that would be awesome. Looking for a way to do it without breaking the forth wall.

All the visuals are pretty simple but maybe a shrink animation on the doors would work while still keeping it simple. Soundscape is all thanks to the great work of Kevin Bryce, look him up on that there google, he's great!

This was a good game! Only thing that bothers me a bit is how long the transitions take, with the black fade, though... might by lag. Anyway, visual novels seem to few and far between here, so this was a refreshing adventure. Dialog is pretty ordinary, but expressive and easy to read, the plot's easy to get into, the characters diverse, the sceneries detailed, and it leaves me wondering if there'll be a sequel? Seems like promise for one. Nice work!

I am happy you liked the game ^^. And I am thinking of leaving the ending like that... It's more of a deep ending if you think about it, it raises a lot of questions, even the question of it being a "Happy Ending". but it all goes back to the players, and how they want to see it. ^^;

This was a fun game! The jump key felt a bit jumpy at the start, but you get used to it. Levels are varied and fun, music catchy, the character movements crazily energetic. Feels like the coins almost fade too slowly (or am i expecting something more than just the fade effect?) but everything else is just great. Fun platformer!

Hey thanks for the review, did the jump key might have felt jumpy because you do not need to hold down the key to jump higher. ( a common feature in other platformers megaman mario ect.) you just click and he jumps to the max.

Long time since I played one of these lander games! This one presents the idea with a little twist: the lander items, to be collected before you reach the pad, so it's a bit more of an obstacle course with time as the foe than one where you save on maneuvering to conserve fuel. Slick graphics and controls, a neat soundtrack... and a plot too! Nice work.

Thank you, your comments mean a lot to me! :)

Wait a min... if you win in the future... how would you be able to go back in the past to use that money? O_o I mean, even if you could bring items with you, different times, different bills. Apart from this tiny detail this was a fun trip, and it turns out there was actually some plot too. Graphics are great, the music's catchy and comfortably 8bit. The controls however aren't perfect, walking from one screen to the next sometimes causes you to slow down right at the edge, sometimes you have to walk back and try again if you get too close without passing, but that's another minor thing. Nice work! Hope for more fun stuff like this! It wasn't unnecessarily long either, short enough to maybe even merit future plays.

Yes, this timetravelling thing isn't that logical, I confess ;-) This game was made more or less as a little time waster, which was not supposed to answer such hard questions ;-) Anyway, I am glad you had a bit fun, thats what all its about...

The epic feud between NewGrounds and Kongregate, finally manifested in the form of a game! :D Love the idea, and the game itself - despite very simple graphics (or maybe thanks to) - was simply really fun to play, simple weapon system with limited ammo, medals and all. What a trip it was! It's thanks to crappy flash games like this that this place is still alive! :D

Are you kidding me? Didn't you see the rain effect? How bout dat' intro? The amazing desktop monitor backgrounds and uh, ahem, content?

Geeze louise I can never please you people.

A game with a message! The controls are a bit odd to get used to (why not have a regular menu/buttons in addition to keyboard shortcuts?), and the dolphin movement's a bit stiff, but the game itself isn't bad. The idea's unique and staying out of harms way is a balanced challenge. Guess it wouldn't be the same without the long time it takes to turn, you really need to plan a route. Keep it going!

Thanks for your review. I agree the control are a bit odd, but I kind of like it that way. The dolphin is indeed a bit stiff and i am not liking the rotating point.
I am working on improving these on the sequel, and for sure the dolphin would be less stiff then. I've got the animation ready for this. Hope to see you for the sequel.
