Another entertaining glimpse into the life of this interesting duo! It starts like a horror story but... never really gets that dark. Entertaining social media twists. Office cubicles. Communities. Online interactions... for an alien world it's a pretty relatable place.

Was hoping there'd be some kind of intro to these series btw, but seems like it either predates NG, or that there is no particular intro, but rather a backstory to give the characters context? Well that works too!

Looking forward to seeing what turn these two take next.

Thanks for the feedback! There actually isn't an origin story, but as we go along we'll get more backstory and character detail. I have some origins written out, but I've always had something of an aversion to the "origin story," but we'll see!

It's like a cyberpunk detective fiction story in a strange, alien world... what an imaginative; immersive realm. Interesting character too. You've got a unique style going for them as well.

The animation's smooth, and albeit not the most realistic it looks good, and goes well with the story and narrative. The apartment in particular has an eerie kind of alien ambience to it, and appreciate details in all the decor, and chaos. Usually there's not all this much stuff! Think I need to watch a few more of these episodes... great first impressions.

KelthorPower responds:

Thanks for noticing the amount of "stuff" in the apartment, ha ha. Always trying to make the scenes feel alive.

The sun is fierce, and great, and its glasses are highly resistant not just to UV but to all kinds of rays! :D And he moves at an amazing pace, though as he leaves accidentally erases the planet's face. The speed at which he's paced it's like he's in a race, and I wonder where he's going with his limitless arrays of magnificence and grace, and rays in great a brace! Magnificent animation as always Chutney, and an entertaining spin-off on the typically-revolving-around-the-main-character story. Those ending credits too. XD

It's always a good day when there's sunshine.

*sniff* so beautiful...

Though there seems to be more footage from games here than there is original work (and as such I'm not sure how suited it is for NG, what with potential fair use issues and all), it was an entertaining and fact-filled presentation too. Good info; presented in a good way too.

My content definitely treads the line between what fits on the platform, but folks seem to be enjoying my videos enough for me to want to keep providing them here. I make a point of not putting on videos that are dramatically more gameplay-focused, though! Haha

That old tale of the hare and the tortoise huh, with a surprise entry! XD Gosp is almost like Aspo hmm... not an intentional reference to the one fable originator though is it? Fun short, and a nice twist on the classic. Animation looks great, but I'm thinking a bit more sound would've been good.

DarkGosp responds:

Thanks for the comment! Yes, perhaps with more sounds, the short would bemore alive, thanks for the advice. Gosp it's because my surname ^^

An eye rolling around in the darkness, looking like something different when they're closed, squiggling almost excessively at different parts of the animation... the main part of the animation was definitely a creative twist though. XD Reminds me of that one horror movie I can't recall the name of right now... but maybe you had that one as reference? Something about a creature hiding in the shadows; coming closer whenever the light turns off, until suddenly...

Anyway this was a pretty creative twist on that film if it was, and if not: I'ma have to dig up the reference so you can see the similarities! Good stuff.

Thanks, dude!

Well it's easy to catch the sezy, and the ugly's not far away either, but I wouldn't have taken the shapeshifting literally if you didn't say it that way - I would have thought it was more of a symbol for how she moved between people, ditching one for the other so fast, just floating away; flowing onward... and then the giant crashes the party and some one is dead... I didn't really catch that ending! Maybe it's meant to be abstract? Maybe there's meant to be a red thread and story all the way through?

Apart from that confusing finale I really enjoyed the animation here, and color, and style, and the subtle background electronica all the way through. Twas a work of art! But if there is a story: that part could've been the bit to work on.

KarlSia responds:

Thanks! That metaphor for ditching people is a very interesting thought. Good catch! and works too. If you check the reviews of @Thereviewtrickster on all my summer jam entries, you can see how they're all connected. He's pretty much been hitting bullseyes!

The music fades out a bit strangely during the transitions sometimes, and at the first cough it wasn't obvious what it was all about, but as it moves on you catch on quickly. All in all it was a fun take on a common idea, and an ant as a pet, lmao. XD Well ants are cool too. Fun, and uplifting little story with a pretty intense amount of sound effects in use! Nice work.

Intrapath responds:

Haha, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I had a fun time making it. Thanks for the review!

Good times this past year, and looking forward to what even greater ones the next may bring! Nicely composed showcase of all that is and was too. It flows so fluently, and all with that catchy custom Chutney music too. Also Manderby said it well! You're something else!

Also didn't realize it'd been this many episodes already!! Good stuff.

ChutneyGlaze responds:

I dare say your reviews sound better and better with each passing review!

How did I miss this! XD The bloopers were definitely better, but props on creativity here! What I don't really understand is why she has a green screen suit too in all those scenes, when in some of them all of her is clearly visible... wouldn't that just make for extra work with aftereffects? I mean.. hypothetically. :P Otherwise good stuff.

SomeonesEx responds:

Nice catch! We live in a world where movie studios spend 5,000 dollars to recreate a CGI dog poop on a couple of frames and a shit ton of money to remove superman's mustache digitally. The unnecessary use of that suit was a deliberated intent to satirize that lack of prevision and the absurdity with which movies are done nowadays ("we use the green suit and we plan later how to dress her").

Really glad you are enjoying the show!
