Well that was unexpectedly feelgood and fun. :) Tried finding a missing pixel in the loops somewhere but it seems you nailed those too, nicely done!

Always fun to see the source files too, way more layers than I assumed here, yeehaw dude!

And an NG track too! I thought I'd heard it somewhere else, good stuff.

Thanks. That was the vibe I was aiming for in spite of the mocking text. I improvised a lot while making this and luckily this one song in my favs clicked with what I already had done.

If you look closely, I think you can notice the background images snap ever so slightly instead of looping seamlessly. I was following this article for loops using tweens and missed the portion describing a container.

Yeah, I know it's a lot of layers, but it helps me keep track of things, lol. The real headache is keeping track of nested symbols and editing or re-timing them if need be. I need to think several steps ahead in the future.

This was niiice! Wonder if it's at all F-Zero inspired, though with the canyons it might be Star Wars POD racers, maybe there's no particular race inspiration at all though...

Nice work on the explosions in particular, so smooth, and the shot of the bird flying over the water was serene too... what a gem, old but gold still. Good music too.

The school ones may be the best ones. XD Remember getting sent to the principal's office once for just playing in an aggressive way... only time I ever did get sent to the principal, and on principle it was petrifying!

That first name story lmao! And the Mike Tyson tattoo. XD

This was a good one. Schools ain't like the used to be...

People sure getting pretty aggressive down in the mines...

I've no idea what's really going on here, or why this Max cat would prefer a ruby over much more moldable treasure, but the animation's solid. Good-looking sounding and entertaining but confusing plot-wise...

Oh it works!!!

Using the most frustrated sprites before the transformation too. XD

Nicely done.

Dope music, dope video! Love the lighting in particular, the glow, the flashes, shine on rings and everything, there's so much atmosphere enhancing going on in the background. And the visual detail's solid, only thing that's maybe not as fluent as it could be is the movement, but that's hard to get with tweens. This was really way more intricate than I'd have expected an MV to be...

Great vibe; great video! Fun to see.

Man I wonder what your relationship with said sister is like now. XD This is bound to leave some type of resentment...

Does make for a good story though! All this childhood trauma...

Oh my. XD I've seen the Steamed Hams meme before but never the full thing I think, this was fun... haven't played Professor Layton before, so I'm sure I'd appreciate this even more if I had, but you get the gist of how the game works pretty easily at least, and somehow the puzzles just make the story even better.

I like the added easter eggs and other detail with sound effects and what-not, like Bart's 'ooh he's picking his nose', that's something it'd be fun to find were this an actual game...

Speaking of: I imagine this would be way more fun if it actually was an actual game too. Doesn't seem impossible to make with Flash for example, in how choices are pretty much all point-and-click, an interactive format for this would be really cool.

Nicely done though, fun idea, great sound design, the mysterious music in particular fits in so well.

I'm glad you liked it, man. :)

That's a good idea! If only I knew how to code a game...

Well that sure escalated quickly! XD

Love the flash at the beginning, the sound effect and screen shake when he starts sucking in souls, impactful beginning... the army of toads marching, and Luigi's Transformer-like cry as they do (something I get a bit annoyed about in movies - same kind of sound design seems to be used in pretty much every sci-fi alien/monster movie these days) was powerful too...

It ends quick after that though! I feel like it was just beginning, it's a great build, and a very sudden end... that doesn't really seem conclusive. Enemies still gathered. Seems like the battle rages on. But nicely animated.

Makes sense though when it's a part of a bigger thing, course. Good part.

Atmospheric background too.

Edit: Collab comes now

What a cool way to celebrate this milestone. :) The build-up music seemed to hint at something way more epic but... I guess the contrast's part of the entertainment. XD Happy end scene.

Graphics are crisp; the soundtrack's atmospheric too.

Nice homage Solito, and Congrats on the 400 CF!
