Can't wait for the day two report of this in-depth coverage of the Subpar corporate convention from my favourite source for sub news and opinions, SubparGeekGirl96! :D Could the Sublo and Tangy Mustard doppelgangers actually have been the original duo too hmm, they seem familiar...

Impressive how you manage to make seemingly ordinary scenarios so entertaining, Un theory this doesn't seem that captivating a premise but... unexpectedly enjoyable still.

Nicely done. Creative new angle on the Sublo/Tangy universe too.

If I understood the language hmm...

Cute work, though I for sure thought this'd be related to the Buckwheat Boyz - Peanut Butter Jelly meme back in the day. XD New times!

LOL i got those vibes too XD. its called that cuz her names peanut butter , i based her off my brother ^__^
the language is german cuz thats her native language , it says “ oh look , a snack ! “ ^__^

I can stand with this fo shiz! :D

Greatest bash of not just Adobe ever, but corporations as a whole. The greedy but oh so needy... it just takes a better contender to topple their monopoly after they get all too accustomed to people having no other option, and being able to treat them however they like to. Happens all too often. It may take some time but... time's coming! When we stand this no more!

Great work. Great animation. That face too. Visuals, audio, production quality overall is just impeccable.

Well that was fun! XD So much talk of violence, yet so much cuteness; so little visible murder and carnage... the contrast really makes this animation. Conversational pacing's just perfect too.

Good stuff.

Gotta love the original sounds that follow the animation... story-wise not that much really went down with this one, but still fun to follow, great voice; appealing visuals; entertaining notes... looking forward to the next!

This really perfectly encapsulates the spirit of General. XD And surmises our final thoughts and feelings thereafter through a multitude of creative forms of expression... in a way that's both entertaining and aggravating, soothing yet melancholy, moving but hella jolly... sometimes. Monumental collab y'all.

Good homage to one of our greatest losses. A fun place it always was yes.

RIP.

The cube may be a simple cube but the audio exceeded all expectations here! XD This was kinda existential man, you try and you fail, the pressure to perform, the interplay between so different and seemingly incompatible forms, the size of the circle compared to the cube, even the voice a menacing baritone tone in comparison - which seems unsuitably and yet.. it goes well with the theme. It's daunting. I was not expecting it to get as graphic as it did in the end though lmao!

Was expecting this to just be a simple 3D model test thing but way to go! Set my expectations low since you said I'd be disappointed but here, but I really was not. The animation's simple but the script's both hilarious and profound, and the angles set the atmosphere...

Art man. The title leaves you expectationless, but the product really takes you on a ride.

Aalasteir responds:

Nice! I am oddly proud of it because I made it completely improvisationally. I'm a big fan of surreal comedy, like "Xavier: Renegade Angel."

You made the right decision by setting your expectations low. The titles of movies are not frequently discussed in terms of the impact they have on setting the tone and communicating what the material will be like. Titles provide powerful opportunities to give viewpoint on what the story will be about, using elements that frame the story, independent of the art itself.

The entire tone of a piece can shift simply by changing its title! Altering the perspective to communicate something entirely different. For example, instead of naming it "Cube," if it were titled "Circle," the framing of the story would be different.

Alternatively, if it were called "Box," would it refer to the cube itself or the environment around it? These subtle differences contribute significantly to how the story is perceived and can greatly shape its narrative arc.

And they wonder why people have trust issues these days! XD I've never tried this aaand I don't think I ever will, but it sure does make for some good stories; third-party entertainment here...

Come to think of it though maybe it's actually not that different from masquerading as Santa and stuff...

That mask's masterful man! XD

And what a stunt with the recreation! Windows Movie Maker was the shit back in the day too, still is, if only it had a bit bigger an assortment of HD export options...

Great story. Might just have to head over to YT to see some of that extra footage too...
