Haven't played so far yet, but it looks like a surprisingly stylistic textual adventure, all in HTML! I'm not sure what the 'Bookmark' link does (?), but apart from that somewhat vague feature, it's easy to navigate, and fun to read/play. Been thinking about making a Twine game myself, so this is good motivation too, good to see how simple it seems to be to make and play. Wish you didn't have to get a dialog confirmation window every time you restart, but maybe that can't be avoided? Anyway, looks good, all I'm missing in some atmospheric music playing in the background and it'd be perfect! Keep it going!

Twine is one of those easy to use harder to master things. It is fully customisable, I hadn't fully looked into the more advanced features when I made Space Twine. If you're already familiar with html or css you're at an advantage.

Thanks for reviewing!

A heroic finale to the series! :D Plenty of varied obstacles in this one, a puzzling venture through the creepy castles with corners candid with keys and memorabilia. Nice work!

Thanks!

It's a new one! :D I didn't think the 'Horror' paintings would turn into a series, but I'm glad it did. I like the added details, like the crackling thunder and darkness, new backgrounds etc, and there's plenty of pretty interesting paintings in the mix! One thing though: would be good if the 'Art Saver' medal unlocked immediately when all ghosts are found. I missed one, went through the game again finding it, and did, and closed it down expecting it had been saved but... it appears it's registered only at the end of all three scenes, and the medal not unlocked until you visit that screen through the main menu. Just a small detail, but it could save some time. Also, I realize that it takes longer to get to the next image if you answer correctly rather than if you answer wrong, all that time adds up if you're playing many rounds. Doesn't apply to just this one game, but I don't think I mentioned that with any of the former. Otherwise, great game, looking forward to the next one!

Those are some creepy cats waltzing around the place! Though the journey seems kind of aimless it's a bizarrely entertaining track, the hallucinogens, the waterfalls of blood. and a dog with a heart of gold! Seems like 3D is getting pretty popular again now with Unity, but it lags, that's probably the main reason I didn't work my way through this entirely. Second reason: it didn't seem like there was a definite mission, a goal, some awaiting reward I'd get from the adventure. Was fun for a while though!

ah cheers for review eh. Yeah it's given me some direction now, I realize I need to actually add some purpose to what player is doing.

Idea's good, but it takes a looong time before you start bringing out some real treasure. Seems like one of those games you leave to play itself, but IMO it'd be more fun if you're actively involve din the process, need to keep up with upgrades, maybe have a top-down view of the mine where the digging's going on so youactually see where things are happening; can steer the way, mark where new tunnels go, etc. As it is I'm not getting that motivated to keep mining. Keep it going!

Appreciate the feedback. Your suggestions are well beyond the scope of this game but it's definitely something to keep in mind for a future project. Thanks for playing.

Not sure if this is a browser/plugin/something-specific issue that you wouldn't be able to do anything about, but I seem to be getting only black screens lately with Unity games, this and one other (I assume this is Unity since there's no right-click menu?). I can hear the thunder crackling in the background, but the visuals just aren't there! :/ Not much to do...

kotajacob responds:

Hmm weird what browser are you using I haven't had that issue before? If you have any weird plugins to that could be helpful in fixing it. Also no it's not unity I wrote it in javascript.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here, but I get a glimpse of a battlefield, and then everything goes black. I can hear music play and see the Temporality logo to the top left... but that's it. Nothing happens. Reading reviews it seems no one else has this problem though... whatever it is, hope it's fixable; hope I'm not missing something here.

just404it responds:

did you press A or D once the screen went black?

Simple fun! Graphics are good, controls are sleek and easy... there's nothing to like about this! Nice work.
