Finally won! :D Took longer than I thought. I underplayed the value of traps, thinking they were a one-time thing just like the Exterminator, and tried just investing as much as possible at first to then bash away all pests at once... still can't wait too long before you start dealing with the problem though. At first it seemed a bit like an Idle game, but seems you really can't be too idle either. Simple idea, and good execution, with a pretty balanced array of upgrades, crisp pixel graphics and a difficulty level just on the edge for not-too-aggravating-or-time-consuming. :) First LD40 game I play this year, and it's a great start! Nice work.

Thank you! I really appreciate the review and I'm glad you liked it!

An impressive showcase! With so imaginative motives too. Congrats in hitting a hundred, for big art like this that seems like a massive amount. :) Seems you're really getting popular where you live? Wonder if you do all the work on most of these yourself, or if it's usually the outlines, and other people fill in the color (as you could see on one of them)? Looking forward to the other parts!

It's the old layout! :D So much nostalgia in this thing... even if it's just the one action you can take, the one movie you can watch, no scroll or drag or move functionality at all... fun memories though.

It's like a greeting card, a game, and a piece of poetry all at once! :D Love the wit, the words and that eerie piano plinker that keeps playing in the background that never passes... nicely done!

It's a fun twist to the original Snake game, though takes a looong time before you start gathering speed... and even then it feels a bit slow. I feel like it'd be easier to replay if the speed-up process was a bit faster, and then you could avoid green ones too if you feel like it's getting too much. The medals also don't seem to be unlocking properly - I was well past a million and yet that medal remains... and the highscore doesn't seem to be registered either. Some kind of time-out issue? Since it does take a while to get that far...

I think you need to refresh the page to see your medals and the highscore registers when you die. I did fix the medal issue.
I will test it again though.
Thanks.
Edit: Medals and scoreboards fixed

Really wish this game had a highscore table, or even better: medals! The gameplay's great, with effectual sound effects and smooth animations/graphics. Shooting down the space ships is a rewarding process, and the challenge really keeps growing the further you go. Though the ships don't approach you at all it's a nice homage to the classic game with the same name, though reminds me more of Space Junkie, with the different ships and patterns. Would love to see some API rewards added to this! Also random drops on life, variation with power-ups etc... though since it's a limited link of levels maybe it's good with the current set of life, at least. Some kind of vacarion though... it'd make for more replayability even when you beat the game. Otherwise it's pretty much perfect! Great work.

Apart from potential copyright issues with Megaman sprites and title, it's not a bad Platformer start! The movement is a bit slow, though, and it's not easy to jump nor attack. Enemies seem to be lacking. The music ends abruptly. The medal doesn't seem to unlock either? It's a good start, but could use some polishing!

I like the idea, though the game itself feels a bit imbalanced! Even from the first level the 'boss' moves faster than you, and seems to catch up to the ball with ease even when it bounces off the square in the middle, whereas the player has a hard time catching it if it goes the wrong way. I also wish you could catch the ball with the corner of your paddle to have it bounce the other way and hopefully surprise the AI. Graphically it´s a bit limited too, though the style does go well with the classic Pong games, so if that's intentional I can see the intention. :)

I like the idea, and the upgrades, but feels like either the AI is a bit too good, or it takes a bit too much grind to start playing against it, even at the very first stage. Good idea, though, and thanks for fixing the bug!

Thanks for the long review :)

To be honest levels from 1-4 can be beaten without any upgrade. You must find the right position and time to launch the ball. But uploaded a little easier version, bonus speed, Mr.white size smaller and death bonus now 5$ instead of 3$.

I hope it will be more enjoyable now :)

Is it even possible to accomplish a normal ordinary everyday handshake here? XD Also noticing the addiction factor here. Awkward, silly; instantly entertaining. Physics work perfectly too. Unlimited re-playability.
