Finally decided to watch a part of this thing that's been so prevalent in the portal lately... and good thing I did! I don't read much news, but this seems like a good way to take in what little interesting tidbits of such stuff's going on these days. The laughter/applause isn't really sitcom standard, nor the graphics, and the jokes now all hilarious, but all in all it's an entertaining way of presenting this stuff! Good way to start the day. Think I'll tune in more often.

Tanks! yeah I need to find better sounds. I dunno where to look. The Newgrounds Audio Portal is great for like techno or action music but I dunno about for sound effects. Yeah I hope to get it better and improve the art and stuff over time. Didn't want to over-analysis-paralysis it to death. Decided to just put the shit up and evolve it over time :-O

Lots of variation; creative approaches to the Halloween theme! Nice work all!

Wow... I am so happy that you actually noticed our work and comment! Thanks for nice feedback!

Well that was unexpected! Just kept getting more and more unexpected! First her gladly agreeing to jump from another building, then actually jumping, then them judges... brutal. XD NIce work fleshing out the idea though, totally new twist to the good Samaritan thing!

LOTAC responds:

Thanks CD. Much appreciated!

A bunch of monkey-like peoples just monkeying around huh. :) It was fun to watch! Smooth animation and funky music; color to go with it. When you say hand drawn btw, do you mean actual hand-drawn drawings made digital? Or drawn digitally, by hand, with a tablet or similar? Either way it's nicely done, though if it's the traditional way: all the more impressive! Nice work.

LUCA-FATTORE responds:

Hi and thank you for the positive message.

By hand drawn I meant drawn digitally, by hand, with a Cintiq monitor.

The house is burning but... his be'd still OK? :P After-credit choice of scenery was a bit weird, but other than: entertaining stuff! Also wish the main voice was a bit higher, or other sounds a bit lower, the audio comes off a bit imbalanced. Keep it going!

Snackers responds:

yeah, i sort of rushed the credits scene. and for my next cartoon i'm considering using a program to mix the audio properly so i can do more complicated things and make it sound better. thanks for the criticism!

Well that was pretty entertaining! :) Even if animation's pretty still and sketchy the mall details in expressions and imagery, like him holding the dog backwards, make for pretty good visual entertainment. Dialog never quietens down either, no dull moments. Nice sketch.

Potatoman responds:

Thanks man! This is our first improv working together. Hopefully we get better and better with each one, so we can get nice and consistent!

Stickfigure dance video... really wasn't expecting that! They've got the movies though. Nice sound. Nice background. Movement that syncs to the sound... not bad!

DarkComics1 responds:

thanks haha, im getting back into animation this was a little warm up test, toke me 15mins

A pretty creative; varied animation reel! Lots of collected goodness.

Ah thanks so much man! :)

He really went all out in that final down show! Crazy ending. Up until that point it was entertaining in a bizarre and brutal way, but do wish it ended differently... I was just waiting for him to get cracked up though. I mean: crack his shell. Actually that's pretty symbolic huh. Love the total mash-up of various characters and tales; all in a new world of modern, morbid noire. Nice work!

GABBODAVIN responds:

Thanks for the comment i appreciate it, made my day. im not totally happy with the ending either, this was my first attempt at writing a linear story, and it seemed like ending scenes were the hardest to come up with.

Well that was oddly entertaining! :D Combination of serious voice; so energetic characters was perfect, though the GoAnimate watermark in the middle of the screen... it's a pretty big distraction!

-cd-

AnimationOverload responds:

I know the watermark is bad, but GoAnimate requires you to shell out $500 in order to get rid of it. I suggest you look at our second Patreon goal.
