Not sure what's going on here but it's definitely disturbingly entertaining so: props. Style feels a bit like RomeroJR's Sick Animation shorts. Not bad.

thanks dude :)
Imagine how cool this would've been with some actual animation between the scripts. :) Or just some voice acting in the background. I'm thinking there'd be a lot of ways you could turn this voice lesson into something fun, though as is it feels a bit... aimless. The transitions are good, and that final artwork made me chuckle a bit, but the journey there... it feels more like preparation for that final bit than much else. Inspiring music, and good text but: potential for more. All fun's good fun though! Happy Pico Day!

Thanks for the feedback, and HOLY CRAP I HAVE BEEN NOTICED BY A PERSON WHO IS POPULAR IN MY DOMAIN. <3
Yet again that voice acting is just one a whole other level! Transitions are swift, the setting builds, the panning forests, and flashing colors and sometimes eerie and sometimes frantic soundtrack really build something here. Both the mood, and certain elements remind me of all the horror games I love to play, classics like Resident Evil and Silent Hill but also newer ones like Alan Wake, with the shifting nuances of blue and thick forestry all over. The 2D graphics feel like both a limitation but also refreshingly new. Haven't tried any larger game like that since the days of Dangerous Dave, and that wasn't really horror... curious how it'll work with this one. Congrats on the release and hope the fanbase keeps building! Hoping to join in when time's enough for it.

Thanks for the everlasting support trhoughout the years man, you're a hero!
A 'speedpaint' of actual art like this... it's pretty cool. Might be the first time I see it. Wonder if it'd be possible to set up a video camera at such an angle you can actually capture the painting process too some time? That'd be cool to see. As it is you see the layers build, the detail grow, the colors change... but you grow curious as to how each change really came about, and what errs might be camouflaged under the pain. Feels like that'd be both all the more intimate and all the more educational if that's what you wish to derive from it.
Even if the final piece is definitely the big thing here, and the process more of a bonus. Maybe it'd get in the way of the art trying to document things too much. Turned out great.

On my instagram I have some filmed videos of paintings and drawings actually!! I intended to film this one but since I don't have a studio and just paint in my house I ended up moving the canvas around a lot, I also don't have a tripod so a lot of my filming is pretty gross://

Here's a link to a coloured pencil piece I filmed:)
Thanks so much for the feedback!
Entertaining little sketch, though was going to comment on how the audio could use a bit better recording source but eh... seems that bit's not so easy to do anything about! Animation's progressing, though I think something that deviates from the dialog itself would be good too. Step outside the room a bit. Visualize what's being talked about? With animation normal restrictions don't apply.
-cd-
Heh, I didn't even think people would assume the audio recording was bad! It's that way to imitate the game it's based on (Delta Rune). In it, Jevil has a compressed-sounding echoey voice. But I totally get why you might think it was just a crappy mic in a wind tunnel!
Hm... I did try to think more animation...y. Especially with the backgrounds sliding. But I guess I need to go further with stuff like that. Thanks for the review!
Gaining new insights into the Yugioh universe with each one of these. XD Seems like an... entertaining group of people who partake in this particular event! Ain't individuality an awesome thing. Good stuff.

It's a weird but fun community to be in ;) expect more soon my dude, glad you enjoyed!
Pretty impressive for a first!
I like the style, and the atmosphere, but I think you could work a bit more on guiding the viewer. It took a while before I realized her voice was the problem - thought the first key was a razer, and towards the end I'm not sure if she greets the monster in naivety, or raises her hand in fear? Does the monster try to kill her, but give her a voice instead? Or only attempt to help her, and the machine misunderstands and kills the monster...? And why were they embarking into the pit in the first place? In search for her voice? Something else? Did the robot decide to help her? The 'thoughtless' bit above makes it seem like maybe it had no reason after all.
I like where this was going, but in the end it leaves me confused a bit. Uncertain of what I've seen; wishing it was clearer.
-cd-
Thanks for the critique CD! I think the main problem is in pacing and where I choose to "place the camera" when things happen. The cryptic atmosphere was intentional, but if it was too confusing then the narrative must need improvement.
I do like to tell my stories in little bits though. The next one (whenever that may be) might raise more questions, but hopefully easier to digest.
So you were the one behind this one. XD One of the most memorable ones, for better or worse... no possible complaints in regard to the animation though. Or audio. All great.
Stands well on its own too.

Hah, thanks dude. Glad it still holds up.
Yeah that's definately not what NG means by adult themes. :) Good call.
Was fun to watch too, so definitely did some good! I like how well-timed everything is when you once again swirl back to reality, both with sound and visuals, just perfect, and for a while you lived that dream... feels like this is something I could keep on loop a bit just to escape a certain task. Very nice.
-cd-
Thanks! I know I definitely live this on loop some days when there's more friction than usual trying to get work done lol
Well that went fast! Batman does rely heavily on the tech so... not totally inaccurate right. Good fun.
-cd-
Thanks! And true, he does, but my favorite interpretations of Batman have always been showing when he's at his lowest: no tech, outnumbered, and outpowered. It gets to the heart of his character, a man in a mask doing whatever is necessary to save the day. Glad you enjoyed it!
