Haha, genius. Now everytime doesn't think fast enough I'll see them as masterminds. :) Short, simple and masterfuly drawn. Keep up the great work!

thanks, mate

So the king has returned! :D Life in Kingdom seems calm and ordinary... until the news broadcaster brings forebodings of a looming menace. As always there's the occasional random comedy occurrence, like the bag of chips (definite favorite), car joke, cake burning, ugly photo... all neatly integrated with the otherwise pretty resourcefully calm plot. The animation's fluent, the pace isn't hectic but still not too slow to not captivate all the way through, and that hobo eating burgers... that was an interesting break. :P Bit of a different style too, without outlines and stuff. Music seems to pitch in at all the right places, though it was pitched out a bit early at the end. Until the next one!

Thanks for the review!

Well that was... random. :P I wonder what a full of movie of Rambi would turn out like... that voice didn't really suit his appearnace until... oh wait, it does suit his appearance! His matter of acting though, that's something else. Short; entertaining!

WooleyWorld responds:

I need to fix his voice, for sure.

Great stuff! I think the 3D animation works great for some thinks, like character expression and scenes were there's not so much movement, like the hilarious dance scene, but for other parts it doesn't work that well. Motions aren't always that realistic, and the rock scene especially looked a bit ridiculous the way they all just moved around each other in the air. I think there's potential for it though! How about mixing 2D with 3D, like they do in most modern anime, at a point where you usually don't notice which is which? Well maybe I'm asking too much for a privately funded operation. :) This was great though, long and entertaining all the way though, and I'm looking forward to the next one!

Kel-chan responds:

yah...it would be nice to merge them but its alot of work for one person for a flash that nobody's gonna watch

Haha, well I said it before... or wait, maybe I never did say anything other than 'it's stuff like this that made NG what it is', so I'll say so now: this is genius. Short, twisted, clever and controversial. And there's a moral in there too, this twerking phenomena (at least when Miley is doing it) is a turn for the worse in the world, it should be discontinued before peoples eyes start hurting. Hoping for more creative shorts like this! Or longer, that works too. :)

You're too kind! Yes, I'm awaiting another trend that I can hopefully make longer and better content to parody it. But thank you for your review!

I'm looking forward to seeing how this'll develop! The idea makes me think of the Angel's Egg movie, but the surroundings are much brighter. I'm not sure if you're attempting to make the world seem a bit menacing (the fish do seem menacing), because if you are the colors and ambient music don't really enforce that impression. The character expressions, however, speak more than the surroundings. I'll stay tuned for the sequel!

Miniambra responds:

Thanks cd! We've never published anything on NG and we are loving the participation and feedback we're getting :) There's always so much to keep learning from each person's interpretations! You are right about your observations, we wanted images and sounds to reflect Miniambra's struggle as well as her personality. The colours and music were designed based on the idea that beauty can also be found in that which is apparently hostile, dangerous or difficult. We hope that we can explore this more in depth in upcoming episodes :) Cheers!

Woo, Doom T-shirt! Awesome. Nice subliminal promoting on the book buy too, it might be true that which they say: if you tell someone to do something they won't do it, so if you don't tell them they probably will. Good logic.

ToonHole responds:

DEFINITELY DON"T THINK ABOUT PURCHASING THIS BOOK

Haha, that's some powerful spooning! :P I like the sketchy style of animation, and how living it makes everything seem. Don't really get why he just eats the spoon at the end though, and when his stomache rumbled I thought it was because the jelly he had already eaten was alive too... so I was expecting some follow-up on that. Didn't turn out as expected! Either way it was a fun watch though, keep it going!

Butzbo responds:

It's always fun to get reviews on relatively old works!, The bits of the spoon destroying things were the most fun to make!
Hah, after finishing the animation, I wasn't completely convinced with the ending either: he just ate his spoon as a form of 'solution' to avoid eating the defenseless "living jelly" (and for some reason the spoon made some sort of smoke emission, hahah). But I agree with the fact that it could've been a bit more elaborated as a conclusion.

Thanks for the review!
