So sad. :( Not the ending I was expecting, but it was nicely done, though the fade effect leaves me wondering if he's maybe just imagining things. I think walking away would've been more effective... but maybe that's just me. The snow effects falling down are great, especially with the camera angle upwards its surprisingly realistic! Character motions are all smooth, the voicing melancholy, the music melodic. Maybe the facial expressions could convey more emotion, but it's good as is too. Keep it going!

he actually came back to that same place to remember... so I guess it was a flashback?
either way thanks a lot XD

lmao, the pinnacle of paranoia! With a little realism in the mix. Great wording, great singing, great work. Keep it going!

thank you so much - I've had this idea for so many years that I wasn't even sure if it was still funny anymore.

What I don't get is: how do they fit those huge afros in that small car? :P Great animation, great transitions, looks like there's potential for a great amount of intense action and funneled fun. Looking forward to this!

hahaha, it's a very good point, magic afro's I guess :D
And yes, there will be plenty of action! Thanks for your comment :)

lmao, did not expect that ending! Simple idea, great animations, a rapid character transformation and vuctory theme song at the last meal... nice work!

Thanks. =D

Different! I was expecting a fight between cats, so that's the first surprise, second's the violence. It starts off pretty simple, but the death scenes are so brutal, way more detail than the other aspects, complete with pretty gruesome sound effects. The sunset setting was beautiful! And why two cats btw? What happened to that other one? Was it just.. a decoy? :O Keep it going!

I like to think of it as 'cats have nine lives', but ultimitly I'm not too sure either

Didn't really get the point until I read the commentary, probably because I misenterpreted the mothers tears as tears of appreciation that the kid was making something for them, and probably because the wooden bowl seemed like a great idea and it seemed pretty stupid to switch back to bowls that'll inevitably get broken. The old man looks happy breaking the bowl too... wrong expression? Otherwise it's animated well, moves quickly, has fitting music and tells a story with a moral, just could use some more clarity IMO. Keep it going!

Just because it's you, Cyber... just because. :]

Looks like this might be the start of an awesome series! Wonder if the entire series will be FBF or just the intro? Not many series out there in real FBF, so that'd be awesome to see. As for this intro, it wouldv'e been even more awesome with some added sound to go with the actions, maybe some introductory text (that one screen just flashes by way too fast) or names for characters too. Apart from that, great work!

TheUnseriousguy responds:

i have no idea what FBF means, but this is an opening for a series i am going to be doing that i hope to show the first episode before the end of january. Thanks for the support and criticism, it means alot :)

Awesome work, especially how there's another side to it revealed at the very end, for once watching the credits was really worth it! I'm wondering the guy (father?) was the real message, maybe he's dead; the movie is about the mourning and that kind of meaning. Inspiring watch!

dylan responds:

Thanks, man! I purposely left it pretty ambiguous, but I feel that might be more a limitation of my writing rather than a stylistic choice. There are a lot of possible meanings, and I wasn't able to fully nail myself down to one. Something to work on in the future!

Well I guess the main diference betwen RPGs and real life is that you actually can max out pretty much every skill on most RPGs, with enough time and effort! I'd think RPGs are based upon reality too, but this was a good way of saying that not everyone's perfect, entertaining animation with a meaningful moral to back it up. Nice work!
