This definitely was a lively one! :) That VA passion and overall optimism's contagious. Fun talk, and solid life/VA advice, even if it seemed to turn a bit more into interrogation than normal conversation a while along the way. XD Glad you got the vocal warm-up question in again though @Aalasteir, most detailed cover art yet @TheShokBlok, and it's a good thing you did find your way to the Grounds back in the day @TrinaTan, enrichening the crazy content around here with relished reverberations of varied sorts! I don't tend to choose pineapple for my pizzas btw but y'know... for some reason I'm tempted now. :P

Keep up the awesome work y'all!

BottleTopBillFanclub responds:

Thank you so much for your generous words, @Cyberdevil I am extremely grateful, happy to see you. You are super awesome! It's great to have passion and optimism; it's something that can positively impact everyone around you when utilized in a positive manner. Oh, oops, sorry, it became a interrogation. I didn't expect that to happen. Trina has amazing advice!

Super thank you to @TheShokBlok the cover art is always amazing!

Yeah! :D I can say I am a fan of pineapple on pizza. Perhaps we can start a crew! A pineapple pizza crew! Thank you, thank you! I'm extremely grateful to be a user and to be able to see the amazing self-expression that everyone does. I am amazed every day by the amount of dedication and respect for the disciplines and the level of investment taken in self-expression. The reviews are extremely important to me, and I also try to make reviews. I feel I'm not so good at making reviews, and I am embarrassed by how little I know. I wish I could provide more value to people, but hopefully, even my perspective can at least show that I am willing to give what I can give, even if it is just one vote.

That contributes significantly to the environment. It is entirely true; every vote counts, and it is heartening to see people so invested and interested in the Newgrounds community. We are building the environment; we are the ones who make all of this happen. It is teamwork that makes all of this possible, and without teamwork, we wouldn't achieve what we have. What I find amazing is when you like it; that makes me immensely grateful and happy. Your reviews are incredibly important to me, and I am deeply, deeply grateful for the positivity and kindness that the Newgrounds community has shown. The environment is very positive, and we all appreciate our appreciation for art. Enjoying life is one of the greatest gifts. To be amazed by self-expression and understanding each other is how we continue to build the environment for us. This contributes to enjoying life, which is a gift everyone can give, contributing to the power of enjoying life. It's the true strength of appreciating the greatness of the community we are building and what we are proud of building.

We make the community! We are the community!

Good to hear Audacity actually advocated for by a professional VA! :D There's some solid freeware out there, appreciate the devs that keep such things running.

Great advice on getting into the VA realm too, inspiring journey @Guardias, thoughtful questions @Aalasteir, nice conversation, seems like these are getting better and better with each one.

On topic of moving to another country to pursue a career that really doesn't sound like a bad idea in my ears, especially if you can work at a distance, it's good to explore the world. Just best have a backup plan if things don't work out; have at least a few opportunities ready before you move.

Another good interview y'all! Fun; informative stuff.

Absolutely, it's amazing how much good software can be found, and it's always best to support projects that are free. Yes! I fully agree that it doesn't sound like a bad idea, that is something that should be very thoroughly considered. It's easy to make a commitment that is difficult to recover from. There always has to be a backup plan in case things go south.

ARE you actually doing drugs? XD Wonder if some form of substance really is a requirement to run into such essential cosmic epiphanies as this, maybe that's what I'm missing...

The audio's almost orgasmic as always, with plenty of space in the mix, feels spacey, nice vocals, reading the description along with it really adds a layer though! So well-written!!! It totally makes sense, it's both ludicrous and logical, both laughable and applaudable, with audio the awe in all comes forth all the more laudable...

If you ever do start a church you probably could get some followers! This was... really good.

Quarl responds:

Lol, thanks for the review! Tbh, I roll with my husband once a month, "date night." I'm of the opinion that the substance I just refrenced has medicinal use, a microdose from a doctors office could obliterate things like depression or lack of empathy. The odds of abuse are low because your body needs time to resupply endorphins but there IS a lethal dose... probably controlled for good reason, shrugs for drugs :/

Hey hey, glad I asked about the backstory to the name, didn't expect there to be quite this much thought behind it! And I relate to so much y'all talk about here, the difficulty in starting stuff, the community factor on NG, the power of branding I ought also use better, of pacing and purpose, those other plentiful things I was planning to say I related to but seem to have forgotten during the passage of the podcast...

You do have a great voice for radio @KorosiVV, and in speaking overall, in wording and flow of conversion, impressive for example how you managed to answer all four questions of mine long-form without needing to remind yourself about the next one. Wonder if this is a skill you maybe improve upon via the content you do, like those streams, the more you talk the better you get at upholding context and conversation... valuable ability to have.

Anyway this was a fun, informative and inspiring interview. Good talks on content and work ethics and all. Congrats on the big VA gig KorosiVV and keep up the good stuff y'all!

Greetings, @Cyberdevil It's amazing to see you. Yes, there is an immense amount of difficulty in starting new endeavors, and I have made many mistakes by underestimating the power of branding. I also really dislike marketing the things that I make. I'm not sure if that is a good trait because it just negatively impacts me, and I should reconsider what I should do. It's important to consider the different options, which are going to lead to various results, and how they will impact one mentally, and if that is the right decision.

You're absolutely right! Skills are improved when they are being utilized. Communicating with other people actually does improve communication skills. When you point that out, it is very true that I haven't thoughtfully considered it. I'm extremely grateful to hear it was fun! Yes, super congratulations to Koro for getting the VA gig!

Massive thank you to you, Cyberdevil. You are awesome!

We see you! :D What a banger, wonder if there's a double meaning with the complement attraction/high in cyanide lines - something about complement proteins attracted to pathogens that are already bound by antibodies, from a quick Google, could it be that deep???

The rhyme schemes and lyrics initially are so on point, comparatively a bit simple towards the end maybe, with the lie/cry/die rhymes in particular, impressed overall.

Dope stuff.

-cd-

ADR3-N responds:

I've been waiting a decade to make such a pun regarding complement/compliment and cyanide. One that worked.

Complement is a double entendre for compliment, and complement attraction of course is a scientific term I was vaguely aware of and googled just to write this LOL. Proteins is something we release when in the act of consummating attraction as well!

And cyanide is a lethal substance that when in low concentrations can stimulate the mitochondria. Not necessarily related, but attraction + fatal cyanide = fatal attraction. Everything in (extreme) moderation I suppose.

Actions, louder when you stack them, complement attraction = actions are louder than words, and obviously attraction causes one to act, sometimes fatally for you or the other person.

You're right about the final verse. I deliberately chose a simpler structure to just "get it over with" beyond "when you gonna cry to me, hope you do it silently cause I could not give a fuck." That's a pretty brootal line for dnb. The rest of the song I wrote pretty much in flow state so there is a bit of contrast with overtly flowery initial verses, then the simplistic drop fakeout verse

Around the four minute mark this started sounding as I initially thought it would. :D

Love the whole mix though, both the slower and the more ferocious, and the 'aw yeah' samples in the first track - aw yeah! This was great all the way though.

As for the pauses, I don't mind them personally. Seems like common album practice to transition with silence when tracks don't naturally flow together, and for the most part tracks here actually do transition without, or with very short and sensible breaks, it's only notably silent towards the end IMO.

Nice work y'all!

BottleTopBillFanclub responds:

Aw yeah! :D

THE POWER OF COLLABORATION!

Always amazing to see you! Your presence brightens up everybody's day, I know this is absolutely true for me. You're right, it is common practice to have a transition with silence when tracks don't naturally flow together. You're speaking the full truth. There is so much to consider, that it can be difficult to make decisions when there are so many different approaches, all of the approaches are valid and the philosophy all contribute to a form of communicating the music presented. It's best when choices are made with careful consideration.

The respect shown to all who have contributed to the dialogue without being disrespectful. This is what makes our community so amazing, honest, and true – the respect we have for each other as individuals and people who are passionate about creations and expression. It helps us understand the world around us and how it makes us feel. For this, we have to appreciate and be thankful that we're creating a positive environment due to the respect we have for each other.

I would like to express my immense gratitude to you, Cyberdevil, for contributing to the community discourse environment. The expressions have been communicated and listened to by our honorable community that appreciates independent art by people for the people who are interested in expressing their ideas.

We can shape a positive environment that we all can be proud to be a part of.

Everything, By Everyone

Charlmot responds:

my bad lol i cant make super fast music, anyways thank you for the kind comment we love you :D

Really curious about that old profile now @DaxCamdaxian. :P You're a real NG OG then! And sorry 'bout that typo @Aalasteir, did not realize these questions would get read in full like this. XD Next time...

This was fun to listen to. Good mood; good pace all the way through, good role models and inspirations, inspiring creations, a plethora of creative work - you're both awesome! Awesome visual additions too @TheShokBlok!

Hadn't heard of The Godot Game Engine earlier, interesting... with Flash I've learned to regularly make a copy of the file with bigger projects, in case of corruption disruptions, though haven't had that happen in a long time now *knock on wood*... despite all of its flaws I really like the program though.

Great interview anyhow! Keep up the good stuff!

-cd-

BottleTopBillFanclub responds:

Thank you so much! Awesome to see you! :D

@DaxCamdaxian is super cool!

All cool! I take a lot of inspiration from you, you have an amazing skill for communicating your thoughts and I would also like to aspire to that, that is my fault for not communicating it the format concisely, I realized there's a difference between what's going in my mind and what's actually communicated to people.

I am very thankful that the mood is good and there's good pacing.

Thank you so much @TheShokBlok your art is phenomenal!

Personally; Godot is a great engine! Flash is an amazing piece of technology. It has flaws, but it has served as an amazing platform for creating legendary movies and games. It is sad that there are possibilities of corruption disruptions. It's always good to have backups because losing projects can be very devastating.

You make this community an even better place to be.

Thank you, Cyberdevil.

Woo these sound better than I thought they would! The heavy bass and background melody no doubt complement them a lot , but the quality really is crisp, and the potential endless. Some day I aspire to actually be able to drum like this for real!

Dope work both on samples and sample sample!!! This energy is NICE.

-cd-

ADR3-N responds:

tyty! As I mentioned earlier they work best if you drop them into a big sampler (more than 16 pads) one cymbal at a time. And they could probably use a touch up in terms of your naming preferences.

The original panning of the recordings is preserved, also.

I had a lot of fun and frustration making these, and now that I've got my presets nice and pretty, I think I like them a lot!

This ain't a project to work on? :) I love this. Inspiring vibe. Like a wave. Like a movement. Like momentum for great things...

-cd-

JamesHeart responds:

it was but the music is completely independent ... i used it on youtube as a remix again of Oliver Tree but that's the only other one .... dont want you to feel uncomfortable using it

I Just needed something and it fit his lyric style so i blended it ..
if your okay with that its yours .. i can even take down the video

Dope flow. :) Wish I understood a bit of what it's about but I can definitely vibe with it! Sounds tough.

For the hooks, might be even better if you warm up a bit more, vocals sound a little held back when you sing there. Melodically good but like it could be a little more open/vibrant, if you know what I mean?

Great stuff, keep it up!

You made a super review! Thank's for the tips. Your work is very good too!
