The instrumental's so vibrant in this one, lots of space with the mix, very nice... and the rap schemes; wording's complex, really liked the 'no promoting, cannabidiol' line in particular.

Fire work y'all! And a sudden groove shift halfway through too, yet seamless... soulful.

It fades away a bit quick at the end maybe... but until then 🔥

Nice work, production and composition both.

Thanks a lot for the good and detailed review!!!

Man you've got PIPES! :D And pace! This was fantastic dude, the initiative too, can't wait till you're up at like 20,000 fans; get a real megamix of this going!

CasualBreather responds:

Thanks a lot! Man 100 is already a lot! 20,000 in a PokeRap megamix would probably be my last song ever! xd

Man this was FAST occasionally! Great flow; energetic groove too, I probably don't catch all the references but gotta love the GTA3 stuff in particular! :D Good memories there.

Good mix too! Rich sound.

CasualBreather responds:

Thank you so much! So glad you comment into the mix positively, we actually put way more effort in this one mix after a few ... mid mixing in previous NGMC entries.
Yeah GTA3 was so dope, one of the first 3D open world, truly a milestone in gaming xd!

Woo this was introspective beyond expectations... fire beat, fire delivery, a flow that seems to just speed up and intensify the more stressful and intimate it gets...

And yet the vibe's vibrant and almost reggae-like sometimes. Love the groove.

This was definitely the best I've heard of you yet! Appreciate the candidness, but the structure and creative approach with the lines and how they build as well, and vocals all so musical.

Flawless delivery with the bomb part too.

CasualBreather responds:

Woah thanks for this detailed and accurate feedback!
It's an honor that you appreciated it!!
The best is yet to come ;)!

Oh I loved this show!!! :D The Nujabes OST too...

What a dope recreation. Flow, rhythm, everything - straight to my favorites!

Thanks a lot!! I'm glad you liked it!!

Boombappy and bangin', this is a good one, and I definitely recognize the reference! :D Classic. Sound's just vibrant and full of vibe too. Great bass. Love this.

Thanks a lot hip-hop bruv'!!!

Even without vocals this ain't bad, though I do have a certain bias for the original version now. :P

Interesting actually having a vocal version as the original too, usually it's the instrumental... nice work on this. Spacey; suitably mellow and atmospheric... twas a good beat to write to too, not too heavy instrumentally. Good stuff.

Thanks! I just uploaded it cause why not lol

Thought you had actual atmospheric ambience in the backgrounds for a moment at the start, sounded almost like birds and waves, a day at the beach... or wait are those real bird sounds? Can't tell if they are or no, if no then: very nice sound design there...

As usual there's a lot of layers to this, but it feels balanced, there's the prominent one and others, mixed well, progression's varied, quality's very smooth, feels like you're progressing with leaps and bounds with production man. This was rich.

It is a trip... I like how it fades out; goes back to atmospheric ambience at the end too.

Very nice. Feels like a stroll. A day outdoors. Calming but energizing too...

Creeperforce24 responds:

I just used an atmosphere sample is all. Glad you like the song overall, thank you! :D

Man this was NICE! I really like the build, and how smooth the sound is, seamless transitions, always a re-occurring groove, but the tempo varies, it keeps morphing yet never really changing too much...

The only element that doesn't entirely fit in IMO are the extra strings that get added in around 1:32, and a while later. Not just the tone but their tempo and melody too, it feels like a different kind of song for a moment.

Around 3:50 the melody seems a little simpler; messier for a moment too. But for a moment, then better and better again.

Overall this is really top-notch! Impressive how captivating it is despite the runtime, love the vibe, love the psychedelic; wavy finish, and the mix is polished, just the right amount of reverb and all.

You should be proud! :D Great work.

Creeperforce24 responds:

Yeah true, I guess really that’s cause it’s 7 minutes long and I was running out of ideas loa and that’s why it was getting so simple. And me personally, I thought the extra strings it sounded pretty good, but again, It’s your opinion lol. Thanks for the critique!

Well this was fun. XD Not sure how I was involved with that outro improv, but I do feel pretty good about unexpectedly being donned that grand Miley Cirus equivalent Rockabilly rebel of NewGrounds stature status here!

TY for good answers! Haven't tried Visual Studio Code, good to know. And Copilot! Who knew NG was actually somewhat running on AI already! Problems of the future today...

Vehicle calibration sounds like pretty advanced engineering too @Spadezer, very cool. On talks of air pressure Ken Block’s Climbkhana run comes to mind, where they tweaked (maybe rebuilt) the engine to handle decreasing air density as he drifted up Pikes Peak, there's so much detail in everything you'd never consider if you didn't know about it. Pens really are amazing too... conversation suddenly turned unexpectedly philosophical and pensive for a passing moment there!

That piston explanation was just perfection. XD

And going full circle with the topic of school shootings for NG's big 30 too! Excited to see what grand collaborations or other relevant commemorations this year might spawn...

Great talk y'all. Fun ep.

Aalasteir responds:

What's up, Cyberdevil!

Awesome to see you!
Congratulations on being the Rockabilly rebel of NG!

It’s very surprising to learn that Copilot is part of the programming process. I don’t understand anything about the science behind it, it’s all magic to me. I think for the big 30, Tom will make a news post.

I'm hoping there will be an EU meetup.
