Didn't I review this one earlier hmm? Feels like I've heard it already. If I haven't it sure sounds familiar...

If I have: still awesome! So upbeat and high energy. A little much going on at the same time sometimes but it's a trip too. Love the style.

VortexSupernova responds:

It's the same with the previous one you reviewed, but that one was mixed for another contest

Beautiful. :) Feels like the first aaaaa faded a bit abruptly, and maybe the second bit could've trailed on longer too, but the bits that matter are magical... appreciable orchestral beat towards the end as well. Would be cool to see this used for some majestic animation.

yagru responds:

i'm hoping someone wants to use it in a movie or game myself!!! thanks for the review :D

Got some ASMR-like stuff going on with the keyboard-like clickery in the background for the first bit... really smooth ambience overall, shifts nicely, doesn't always move the way you expect it to. I love the shift around 1:45 in particular. So radiant. Tune that soothes and moves your mind...

music has the power to make you 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭, escape from reality and just not care about anything else for a few minutes, and I strive to make those minutes a journey people won't forget. ✨

reviews like these are the best motivational boost I can get!
thank you so much for the kind words, I'll continue to improve and make more music in the future, so check in once in a while. 👌

This was awesome. Imagine a full album like this hmm..

Jabun responds:

Thanks so much CD! Each track on the album is quite different with this being probably the least chill one :) Only a month left to wait until all is revealed!

Heavy stuff. :) I love that intro, love the riffs, appreciate the rhyme structure of the lyrics too, but feel like length-wise structure doesn't always match, some words get stretched out in lack of syllables, rhythmically not always perfect, a little low voice during the bridge/third verse, and voice overall a little strained but...

Overall these are getting pretty good. Dark

guyfromKillerRAT responds:

yes I wanted it all to rhyme except for few lines. I didn't practice this song before singing it. Just sang each part in a different take and stitched it all together

Getting some Ghost in the Shell vibes with the background vocals in bits of this, or other vibes, Prodigy vibes maybe? Can't quite place similarity. I love the way it starts, I love the element of grunge and repetition, the heaviness especially in those first riffs, but as it goes on... not really feeling like it leads anywhere, and it just doesn't suck me in as I imagine it could have.

Maybe a little too much House element for my preference. Gets repetitive, even with certain pauses/variation between segments, rather than changing pace entirely and really building or breaking down. The beat keeps going...

Still a solid track but would've been cool with some kind of pace modification/twist IMO.

DESHIEL responds:

Thanks, I am a huge sucker for this kind of repetitiveness, when the "best moment" goes on and on and on, but I was concerned that it might be disappointing or downright annoying to someone else.

The influence you hear should be months of listening to DooM and Unreal Tournament soundtracks :)

It's like Endless Handbag and Club A Seal combined somehow.

Epic indeed. Surprisingly catchy. Also very curious how this was actually done, can't tell if it's a sample or recording or something else entirely...

recording vocals and manipulated with soundbooth

It's like an ASMR kind of Lo-Fi DnB... unusual but fun style to listen too. The distance/room makes it all feel all the more industrial too. I liked the second half in particular. Feels almost like two different tracks in one. And wonder how that bit'd work as a rap beat hmm, maybe perfect...

Zerodecoole responds:

I love that description, thanks so much for listening!

A little more reverb left in this compared to the others? Maybe it just seems more when it's this barebones though. Not bad.

guyfromKillerRAT responds:

I put like 0 reverb on

Strumming's maybe not all pendulum perfect but I love this vibe. :) Good way to end this. And good way just overall! Would be cool to hear you try more like this even outside this project, seems probably a bit more difficult than the regular riffing, but maybe worth the practice, such a different kind of mood. I think maybe the slap/pick sound enhances the impression the strumming's a little off sometimes, with how the intensity there isn't as consistent as the strumming itself, I don't mind that sound otherwise but it might have an impact on overall perceived rhythm. The end hmm, didn't quite catch what you were saying there...

you weren't supposed to know what I was saying boy

also I recorded like 5 guitar tracks on this? the first was a rhythm and I used a metronome on the first track. then the last 4 I used no metronome and just used the guitar track I already recorded. so that is why it is off a little. but at least it's not quantized
