Musically so awesome. :) The hi-hat's feel a little quirky in the mix, like they pan from one side to the other, otherwise it's all real crisp. Musical metal trip. Missing more vocals...

It's great as is but a full song with this would make it a whole new beast IMO! The spoken word's good and suitable but a little lost in the breadth of it all.

Keep up the great work!

Thank you for feedback!

What an awesome voice, though the recording... could maybe use some desibilizing, if not better equipment? Not sure if it's just the mix that's lacking, but it doesn't feel as rich or in line with the music as I imagine it could be. Though easy to hear.

And the music! Woo. Awesome work. Vocal mix though... something just feels a little off about it.

Overall love this.

Pixsoul (the singer) just gave me her vocals she did for her channel, she used low budget gear, etc. just for fun. Maybe try my song "Undefeatable", you'll hear vocals with professional gear!

This one really takes you places, trippy, eerie, Castlevania or Resident Evil-like at times, like that scene where they're fighting that gigantic snake... nice contrast between the synth and the heaaavy percussion. And it keeps surprising. Anti-scare sample. Tingles and trails and overall just a trip of a track all the way till the finish.

A little high up on loudness maybe, but the atmosphere's dope. So solid.

Hope you don't really go postal though! Except like postal services. Like a stamp.

Hi !
Thank you very much for this very detailed review !
That's one of the first tracks I made with FL10. The mixing sounds "hard" I think, I wasn't able to use FL tools correctly...
And I had some crazy ideas of melodies on that time, maybe I was drunk when I made this song :p
Thanks again for your review !

Upbeat and groovy, house but soothing! I'm not fully catching the candy feeling, maybe not really sweet and spiffy enough, how does candy even sound, but it does sound like a grand adventure..

It's ear candy for sure! Dope work. Could maybe vary the melody a bit more but it shifts nicely, good mix, good breaks, simple but functional fade at the end too.

yea if i could redo this project i would, not super proud of it tbh

oh well, the fans like it well enough

Heeey I remember Wahnsinn! All these namechanges, hard to keep track of...

Love how this starts vicious right off the bat, and never slows, but never grows monotone either. The beat's steady but shifts too; the guitar/synth's the real highlight though, and the bass man, when it gets the spotlight... masterful stuff. Aggressive and beautiful.

A joy to listen to this, though can't help wonder how it'd sound with some vocals on it! Would be the icing on the... glacier.

PseudoSignal responds:

Thanks bro! There's a version with vocals on NG/Spotify etc. Just search PseudoSignal Hierophant :)

Well that was crazy. XD Wasn't sure what to expect with the intro but possibly something pretty ferocious... yet it turned out an occasionally way more soothing sojourn in the end, with a lot of dnb but ambience too, calming streams and bird-like sfx in the background...

Unique and really cool mix. Loudness seems to be on the edge for how loud it can be though, wonder if you're losing some frequencies; potential extra ambience pushing it that far.

Dope work though. Atmospheric. Beautiful. Calm but intense, a little repetitive occasionally but not too much... it's a strange clash but it works!

thanks so much!

Definitely getting those classic bluesy, Southern rock kind of vibes... I love the style, plenty of reverb with the vocals, soulful guitar, good percussion and an atmosphere that feels both catchy and sentimental somehow... the duet towards the end was a pleasant surprise too!

Feel like the vocals are a little sparse though, it's like there are chorus and bridges but no verses... would've liked more text; more of a story. The voice is like the ultimate catalyst for the soul, that thing which makes the blues truly the blues... when it's not a more steady company the emotions lose a little bit of their edge I feel.

But overall: great work. Great atmosphere. Wholesome composition instrumentally.

Mayhamandeggsband responds:

Thanks for the feedback! That is interesting. Usually, I feel like the opposite is the problem - there are verses but no discernable chorus. I'll keep your comment in mind and try to think about it the other way around in the future.

That beautiful brass, delighting drums, jazzy light improv style all the way... I don't know much about swing but I could probably tango to this. Maybe. If I knew how to tango. Metaphorically otherwise?

The audio quality's crisp and the music keeps you in, I really love stuff like this, melodic and moving... it's great all the way, though maybe fades a bit quick at the end.

Beautiful play y'all.

Thanks for your review CD! Now that I think of it.. maybe Summit Samba would be more fitting. Oh if I could turn back time

Well that was solid. :)

Great voice, great acting, crisp and clear production too... gets close to clipping on some parts at the end but maybe it doesn't really... really a varied repertoire of skills and voices.

Somehow always comical hearing so very contrasting bits of VA work in conjunction like this too.

Fun stuff well done.
