Well that was entertaining. :) WIP version when it's over too, don't think I've seen that done before... nice behind the scenes screen. Also the real teeth within the animation: pretty awesome/creepy effect. XD Nice one.

Rovertarthead responds:

Thanks I believe, comedy entertainment is my strong point. Yeah I still wish that there were buttons to click for the sketches scene just like NG used to have. Yeah just thought the teeth was a nice touch thank you very much!

That dude really was nuts! :O Was expecting a different kind of nuts, if you know what I'm sayin... I like the polite dialog style; classy oldskool stopmotion. The drawings aren't the most advanced, but they work. Motions jumpy but fluent. Music fits right in. Just the right kind of theme for this place too. XD Twisted but... not too much. Not bad. First attempt well done!

gloomygvrl666 responds:

thanks dude ^_^ yea the art style was meant to fit in with my "fast comics" where everything is done freehand in black marker with minimal colour :3

Short but well done! XD I like how animate all the characters are, with sparkles and blood and so very subtle movement all the time. Really livens it up! Good stuff.

SpiderKnife responds:

Thank you ever so much for your kind words Cyber'! Happy to read that you enjoyed the scene :)

Well that was entertaining. XD Wonder if each episode is as non-sensical as this one... but I do like it. Lots of dialog and not much action, but it stays interesting all the way, and definitely doesn't hesitate to take things where they've never gone before! The chain of second opinions was pretty entertaining too. Guess I'd better backtrack to the earlier episodes of this great, refreshingly different detective series soon... good stuff.

Toonwerks responds:

There were a lot of callbacks in this episode, because it was the season finale. So if something was confusing or random, watching the older toons should add some contex!

That last guy taking that other guys hat hmmmm... confused about that part! Otherwise this was great, and good call with the credits at the end, seems the trippiest parts are the GoodL ones. :) Really like the style, the mesh between animated and real, not sure I realized this was such an open collaboration with the last one! Context stays eh... somewhat continuate, although random jumps seem unavoidable for a project such as this. Also hey, no need to apologize (though for what? XD)! Good stuff.

FlowDownStream responds:

That was in reference to what you said on the last one about context, figured you might feel similarly this time around :) Thanks so much for the support, always happy to hear your thoughts and the stars are much appreciated.

Well that was bizarre. :) So far no daunting decapitations processed though, even if they loom ahead, an ominous future for these three critters... why they followed the strange man to their unknown fate seems a bit strange, but I'll go with crazy, brave or naive! Good humor all the way though, and the color switch was a nice surprise. Also really crisp audio quality, though bit high on the loudness. Looking forward to the next bit!

emergencysquirrel responds:

Thanks. Still fine tuning the audio - I come from a music production background, so I tend to master things a bit hot.

Would've been cool with English subtitles. :) Otherwise really digging the intro! Iconic American movie franchise combined with Japanese anime intro style and music... it works! The drawings weren't all that realistic, even with great shading, but the motions definitely more so. Nice work!

drainzerhg responds:

thanks, the credits are really just nonsense, but i think i can do something about it

Entertaining sketch, though the dialog doesn't really captivate that much. It looks and sounds good but... not really sensing the threat, or noting any particularly witty wordplay, or jokes, or what-not... I like the idea but the script comes off kinda non-particular. Otherwise nicely done.

Thanks for the critique

Well that was savage. XD What an unexpected switch-up... and I love how present the character seems all the time. People turn their heads. The teach speaks. The world feels alive, not just centered around the one thing. Twist definitely surprised, too! Nicely done. Smooth animation, and what a mass of voice actors! Curious if there's just a few very talented ones here or if there really are as many as there seem to be? Nice work.

JWLustig responds:

Glad you enjoyed! There were 7 people total in that scene, a few of us doing multiple voices, which I layered like mad. Thanks for your comment!

No imaginary animals were harmed in the making of this right. XD Trippy trip, packed with harmless carnage. Overall just a long and fun ride... maybe a bit too long, actually, even if the pace is alright!

Axelstation responds:

They were not harmed :P Despite the length, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
