Woah, what a twist at the end. Since most of them prison events turned out to be random I was assuming the old man and his magic wouldn't play any big role either, nice surprise. The animation was great, swirling effect when the book opened was a nice touch, plenty of other details. And the live filmatization after the credits roll, that was... fun. :D Till next Friday!

I love Twists Cd, I should start calling myself MisterTwister but that would totally make you see the twist coming. The old man, is the mystery of the cartoon for me. The live film at the end was done at the last second. The beardy guy you see, is a good friend of mine, and his real name is Brian, and he's small too. This guide was definately much more relevant back in the day, but it's well-done, more informative than I thought it would be. And daily feature! Woah, what better proof of concept. :D Nice work!

When that guy comes in with the firehose, that's when things start getting a bit... badly drawn. The close-ups down work very well IMO, nor do the round eyes, or the water filling up the room in that blotchlike fashion. Was good at the start though so maybe rushed after that? Keep it going!

Haha, crazy senario! I don't see how that could happen to anyone but wth, it bodes for awesome entertainment... happy ending too. Great work with the motions on the animation, you really capture the panic in that final stage. Keep it going!

Haha, this just might be my favorite of the year! Definately a favorite so far. It took a while to get the fire started, but once it is started there's no stopping it. Great work on the fluid stopmotion, and the scenery, especially the fire and lighting effects. The boy looks more like a man with his well-grooved face, but age doesn't make a different. What a hear-warming story, a real flash of fire. Great work1

Thank you! Yes alot of people joke how he actually looks like an old man. I used liquid-latex for his skin, and when applying it, it created the bumpy texture. The hands I dipped in the latex instead, so they were smoother.

[The People Who Came]

The average computer has a speed of 356MB memory huh... times sure do change! Took a while before I figured out how to play the movie (some more obvious play button would've been nice) but once I did... woah, there's a lot of work put into this! Nice mixture of drawings and regular animation, all fluent and atmospheric. Would've been cool with a bigger resolution for this kind of detail, but it's nice. The wind blowing in the clothing, the movement, the DBZ-ish moves combined with normal people, plenty of action... it's great! Looks like real moves too. Keep it going!

Wonder a commercial like that would work in real life.... and though it's a fun short, it's a sad truth, here they're handing out ipads for free in schools, everybody has one! If someone doesn't... O_o Keep up the good work!
