lmao, that crazy autotune. Crazy video too, btw, somewhat equally entertaining and disturbing, with some awing scenes like the skyscraper passage in slow-mo, and that final fall without parachute, all on eternal loop... I hear chips ev every time the chimps appear btw, took me a run to get that part. Nice work!

cheers.

This just keeps getting better and bettter! Awesome mixture of sprites and regular animation, powerful soundeffects and as always a bit of a plot to back it up. Nice to see some Ong-Bak elements included too! :D Keep it going!

Thanks my friend!

Hmm, there's a lot of talking and not very much action, but it stayed captivating all the same - and it's long! Good voices, good music; efficient animation to go with it!

Yeah, the early episodes serve as setup for the story and the character's personalities and development. The next 3 episodes though, is a different story.

Impressive work, both lyrics and visuals! The characters really remind of Gorilllaz (intentional?) and the style of music brings me back to Bomb The Bass's Clear. Not really the same, but it has those evasive face-lifting phrasives and phases and faceless style and contemplatings. Not sure if I get any impression out of that Golem character, before reading the description I thought it was a personal persona, an aspect of yourself that's harder to beat, different from the rest and a bit careless about the mundane matters of the world. Nice work!

Appreciate the thoughtful comments CD ... Peace and respect

lmao, the solution to all problems! :D Wonder what movie/ad/whatever that footage was edited from? Because surely... it wasn't made exclusively for this one cartoon was it? O_o Fits right in! I see no edges or anything. Keep it going!

Thanks man! Yeah search green screen Jean Claude Van damme in youtube. You'll see lots of clips to have fun with.

Haha, this could've been an 'important mission' for NATA! What a crazy mixture of characters - great audio, great visuals, pretty smooth effects with the ship shaking, with the voice beaming out of the speakers, resonating through space for an eternity of days... I was thinking the captain was either about to kill himself or jump into some form of escape pod and blast by the window while they were sitting here, this was a... despairing ending. O_o

That means a lot, thank you. We have 5 more episodes planned so keep an eye out for us!

A story that makes a new form of sense of the days and nights; turning of our world. The detailed backgrounds are real nice, dragons seem a bit simple above it but the gradients work well. Script is masterfully written! I was wondering if it'd manage to sound as wise as that ancient Asian music playing in the background seems to force it to be, but it did, mostly. Don't think the eclipse had to be explained though, just displayed. Anyway, nice work! It's an inspiring take on... life!

Thank you very much. Its good to get well thought out comments like yours. Its funny because, this animation was supposed to be 10xs more simple than it is now. Backgrounds and detail was only supposed to be minimal, kinda even like if it was "flat". I do wish I could have had a better narrator other than myself, but time was of the essence for this project. I greatly appreciate your comment.

A happy; creative short! I recognize (and like) the style, that jittery thickly out-lined critter kingdom where all is possible and even the background is a living breathing world of its own.

Feels like that eye reaching out, grabbing the sock, and morphing into a sock ball kinda went over the top a bit. The portal; mystery of the missing sock seemed to follow some kind of strange logic after all, as did the creatures, but the main character morphing however he likes (a magic eye? super powered socks?) was just strange, man! Would've liked a more 'natural' ending better, I think... either way it was a fun watch. Keep it going!

Butzbo responds:

I have to agree In a way with that last bit, I was halfway through the short, and I had to make a plan to "solve" the plot with the smallest amount of animation possible, which led to some overly-absurd circumstances. I'm still happy with the results and how it certainly doesn't take itself too seriously, but hopefully next time the story won't be as erratic (unless there's a proper reason, of course).
Thanks a lot for the review!

Haha, a monstrous episode. Can't think of much to comment on here, somehow the green makes the Toof Ness Monster look like a dinasour, but wth, still entertaining!

MACception responds:

Haha, well, reptiles are related to dinosaurs... So... Glad ya liked it!

Really nice work on the scenery! Both the effects and visual details. The plot kicks in right away, our hero nears whatever place he's nearing, a nemesis appears, and the king fares his fears just before the hero appears and gets that sphere. Looking forward to the continuation!

Thanks! I hope I get to finish it!
