Interesting way to frame in the speedpaint! Definitely adds an aesthetic to it, and I'm curious what program that is you're using? Not bad.

Thanks! I figured since the capture itself is such an awkward and small shape it needed something to provide the illusion that it isn't surrounded by void haha.

I used the Autodesk Sketchbook app (I also use the PC version of it to draw and animate).

Feels almost like time ran out for a thorough final punchline there. :) But Happy 2020! It's a suitably feelgood; festive thing for such an occasion, albeit without any real ending.
