This sounds great, the voice is a bit sharp/unclear at times, but the music is real professional. It's a catchy tune too, reminds me a bit of the RHCP in style. As for mixing, maybe there could be a bit more emphasis on the drums? At times it feel they're hidden away a bit. Who did what in this? What role do you have in the band? Nice work!

Mismo responds:

One of our guitarist mixed and is the creator of the songs music. The singer in the band came up the lyrics. I play the bass.

As for what you said about the drums, I have never thought about it but it's is a valid point and if we ever is the position of where we are mixing a song ourself again I will make sure we have it in mind.

But thank you for the review and if you liked this song you can find more in my page on NG, on our youtube channel and we also got a facebook page. We're called "Postcard".

Intense. My vote goes to Sky, the verse is just full of puns and metaphors, apart from the regular verbal assault. The stuff on submission, morse code, time capsule with the biggest mistake... plenty of creative warfare like that. Vinstigator's verse ups the intensity a bit, but seems lyrically lacking in comparison. Good battle!

Haha, even without this apparently randomly genius script this would be greatness to listen to. Those styles of speech are so different it's impossible to hear it's actually the same person, nice work!

Thanks dude :D

This doesn't sound familiarso I doubt I've heard the original, it sounds awesome though. Apart from being much longer than expected there's also that complete shift in musical pace and rhythm somewhere in the middle, which works well. So... which role did you play in the composition of this? Beats, piano? The guitar really steals the spotlight. Nice work!

Shanath responds:

I did the entire composition while MetalRenard helped fix up a few issues with the orchestration and provided better VST's that I had to choose from. Of course both him and Rob provided guitar work, but it's all VST's except the guitars and piano.

Anyway, glad you liked it! :D

This sounds great, it's like a layer of 8-bit audio over a more verdant background tune though, though it's got that VG style it doesn't sound all retro. Regardless though, it's a nice melody. Would look better without the fading in/out though. Keep it going!

Thank you. :)

For the most part this sounds ambivalently mystical, with a touch of dubstep in the background. It's a catchy tune, and I like the intensely eerie atmosphere it seems to bring sound too. Nice work!

Many thanks.

This was a nice, happy melody. Not sure I like the choir around 30-40, but the tropical music that kicks in after that is just great. It's like being out on a sunny beach, sipping Pina Colada, just chilling, having a good time. I could do without the sharp transitions that the rest of the track consist of, but anyway, good work.

SkyeWint responds:

I'm sorry you don't like the choir or transitions. :c The transitions were one of the most difficult parts of this whole piece to be honest. The tropical part was just something that I thought up - why the heck not?

It's not very loud, but the element of fear is definitely there. With a little imagination I can imagine myself journeying through a dark place, shadows creeping over the ground, clouds pulling over the sky, a breeze chilling to the very marrow sweeping a whirl of dead leaves at my feet. Smooth, ambient, dark music. Keep it going!

SkyeWint responds:

I was thinking of the game Amnesia while making this, so it's meant to be more of a background thing to give an underlying feel of unease while you're walking around.

Your imagination is pretty darn nice while listening! I like it!
