Just so thoroughly uplifting and soothing, this one! Really nice.

Not the kind of track you usually hear here at NG! Impressive vocals, and a soothing ambience throughout, even if it's... kinda depressing... moving music though. Always that thing you strive for. Interesting style too.

Quite a lot of recommendations in this one! Will take some time to sift through... even if disappointingly few of them are in any way related to that one and only that-which-you-do-at-the-BBS Malone.

And I think I have another movie to add to my watchlist @littlbox. Intriguing! I've pretty much only watched comedies from that era, and though those were good this really sounds like something unprecedented. Haven't seen the original Nosferatu either, come to think of it... so far my favorite movie from that era's The General. Right after Un Chien Andalou (however you spell that - actually don't watch that one if you haven't already). Let's see if this tops both of those...

Hey, Krinkels actually elaborating on the wonders I pondered in the last episode! :D What an awesome surprise. Much obliged. Thanks for the additional info @Cymbourine too.

I guess what I was really wondering here is who arranges all these exchanges - if there are any coalitions of some sort behind the scenes, groups of fans all spreading this wealth of Madness-related resources, and continually putting out all those tests, or if it's more so just individual people immersing themselves within the culture by their own initiative. There's just so much of it if you skim the general news area. Makes me feel like there must be some layer of organization I'm not aware of, but maybe there isn't. Maybe it's a mutual; individual chaos, and everyone spends a fair share of time tracking down those common splatter sprites and resources that sometimes seem almost conspiratively re-occuring? Are there any shortcuts for new users to get into this kind of culture these days, apart from just plain digging?

Well, anyway, this was a pleasure to listen to. Seems The-Swain in particular could speak for those full eight hours no problem. :) So much insight! Exciting things cooking too. Feels like the richest podcast so far in terms of the wealth of information it contained, and yet it didn't seem as long as it was at all. Time flew. Looking forward to some of that extra material and whatever celebrities are on the show next! Or a few more rounds with these guys. Wouldn't mind that at all.

Orchestral, memory-inducing mastery! Awesome work.

The Pokemon Battle classic I know, but with a twist! Tone's a bit sharp, and the beat lacks a punch, but otherwise I love it.

The memories come back again. :) The melody's great, though the sound levels feel a bit limited, as does the tone. Otherwise all great.

I just really liked the MOOD with that first song, so strangely hopeful, contemplative, dreamy, wishful - maybe that's the best word for it. The production quality's good, but I felt like the lyrics hit me the most, and it's sung in a way that they feel meaningful too. From the soul. Really refreshing find there. And Lemon Demon's the shizzle! Gotta explore some of those other albums though.

Though @GoodL, good man, I've gotta side with @littlbox here regarding the hippie music classification! The Eagles... hippie music... that'd be like saying Smoke On The Water was hippie music! Come on now. I hear you've got the classics covered at the end so you gotta know... if they're anything I'd rather they not be it's a little bit Country. Not a fan of Country. Though there do be exceptions. Also not that I don't like hippie music.

If you feel like checking out some more modern stuff I'd say fits within the hippie genre I feel like Grouplove really classifies. Refreshingly energetic and uplifting music though. I'd recommend Spreading Rumors if for any reason you're curious about them - there's a pretty fun music video for Ways To Go (maybe the hit song off that album - you may have seen it floating around the net) too.

Anyway, overall this was another thoroughly entertaining listen, continual technical difficulties or no! And lmao at that RUFBNYEUFNBYEUDBYWUYVBFTBCYEHUJSWVTRYUDWISNBERV one. XD Unexpected gem.

Well this was... interesting! XD Getting David Bowie vibes for some reason... interesting.

I just really love the mood with this one! Well, more than that, but it's so strangely hopeful, contemplative, dreamy, wishful - maybe that's the best word for it - all the while being somewhat melancholy and depressing. It seems like the kind of song you could use to overcome such a state of mind too.

The production quality's good, not too loud, clear and balanced, but I felt like the lyrics hit me the most here, and it's sung in a way that feels refreshingly meaningful. From the soul. A little sad, but with a brewing calm all the way. The days do fly by... but I wouldn't mind playing this while they do. Maybe there's some meaning there after all.
