Wonder what happened to the plans for these summaries. :) Admittedly I have a few podcasts to go through between this and the newest yet, but it seems like focus really changed from stats to interviews. I do love those stats... though interviews are great too. Interesting to know what a fraction of content's A-rated too (also thought that was WAY higher - curious if it's risen since).

The B side was a fun ride too. :) Actually didn't know the classic we all know was his second attempt at submitting it. Still learning things.

Listened to this earlier today and I'm probably forgetting about some other things I'd have liked to comment on (Oh, regarding Turd of the Week - I'm still not sure it's been removed entirely or just isn't actively showcased anymore, it seems submissions who won this award still retain it, but new ones hmm... further research required), but just to conclude: what a great beginning! I'll be back in 2034 to see if it still holds up then.

Turns out I didn't listen to this first after all hmm, still works though! I don't need that MIB memory flash. Really. Also pretty clever way of spotlighting this by placing it in favorites like that. Good intro.

One of those legendary ones! Bit high on loudness but otherwise all good stuff. Samples and all. Detail. Good vibe. Oldskool style. It's like a mix of genres, like hiphop and videogame music maybe... something you'd hear in F-Zero or similar. Not bad.

It does take a while to load these podcasts here! But then again I appreciate how the file is actually there once loaded. You can go offline if you want and it'll keep playing. I guess the download feature would suffice for that buuut... it just feels pure somehow. Oldskool. Outdated but: I like it.

Regarding the podcast itself though this was awesome. Awesome guest, awesome insights, awesome flow with the conversation too for the most part. Props to Mikkel on jumpin' on at such unfavorable hours too! XD Those timezones. Relatable.

Thanks for the show, hope the kickstarter makes it, and looking forward to listening in on more of these in the future. And watching way more Tales of Alethrion. Would be pretty cool if you could do some kind of follow-up to this in a few years. Whenever it becomes relevant.

GroundsPatrol responds:

Thank you Cyberdevil!! Glad you like us! A follow-up would be a great idea for down the road.

Such a fast-paced and frantically upbeat thing! :D Can dig, though the pace compared to the original, holy shit. XD There's some kind of Madness to this one... not as easy on the ears, but it does loop perfectly, and it'd probably make for some pretty intense party music too! Not bad.

Is that a... custom quote? Copied from someone wise and grand? Compared to Skoda's remix this feels incredibly chill and ambient though. I like it. Simple but really smooth and uplifting.

Bertn1991 responds:

I heard it in a song a long time ago. The guy singing was really bad at yodeling, but it was on purpose. Also, thanks for listening! :D

Humble origins, horrible Steam experiences and great accomplishments on the shoom. Good stuff. These podcasts are pretty chill... easy to have on in the background. Think I'll be tuning in again. Any thoughts on adding a quick excerpt on podcast contents with these descriptions though? Just a quick rundown on what y'all are talking about? Not that I'd personally need it, and the links seem way more important, but... just seems proper.

Good stuff overall! I like the atmosphere.

GoodL responds:

Yeah that's a good idea, thanks for the suggestion and I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

It's almost like one of those save room themes in Resident Evil. :) An ambient, smooth and perplexing tune, both uplifting and melancholy at the same time... suitable maybe to one so fragmented and far sided identity. Not always knowing where to go, but always on a road, always flowing, all grace, rays, and cauldrons stirring old graves and goblins on the rows.

Reminds me of Parasite Eve 2, too. I like the vibe. Feels like it doesn't always have a definitive goal/pattern/way, but it maintains that intrigue and atmosphere well. It's not what I had in mind, neither energetic or dark, as you'd think befit a beast, but maybe that makes it all the more personal! May be poorly composed but it's richly conveyed. Just ends: a bit abruptly.

Tis an honor to have this named in my name! Turned out pretty cool. Ambient, atmospheric and authentic. Much obliged.

Not sure about that bagpipe-like bit at the end but the rest: solid. Simple but effectual lyrics too! So... is this some kind of outro? Something symbolic? Hiphop career out of commission...? It's got that cryptic hype vibe. Like: could be the start of something...

Teqneek responds:

Welll, this song was either going to be 20 minutes long or 40 seconds long, that's all I can really say about what it IS.

Hip Hop career out of commission? Hardly. I can't stop, regardless if anyone is listening or not. As as long as my brain keeps being constantly flooded with rhymes and ideas, I'm forced to keep making music.

Thanks so much for the review, and glad you dug it for what it's worth. New ishhh coming soon btw I LUHHHH YOUUUU
