Seems like it really is the size that matters after all. XD Sad ending but yeah... well-presented! Was expecting a twist on how the heart was actually his actual heart, but this was a lot better than that at least...

Haha good idea I never thought of it that way about his heart being the actual one. That is one twist I never saw.

I made this animation on a whim and it's funny how a rushed 90 sec video I made got Daily Top 5 compared to a well-planned 11 min video I made in 2 months which never got any attention at all (But it sparked my Youtube channel so it's not all bad).

[Guild Breakers - Buffed Dragons]

Best Quest/Guild/Adventure-based animation I've seen in some time! :D I like how everyone wins at the end. The joke's on all of them. The entertainment's easy to accept. No casualties. The dragon stands strong in the face of their defiance too... overall it's just one long dialog session packed with wit and... harmless violence? Love it. Great animation, voicing and all.

[Valentine Blues]

Classy music, colorful stick-figure contours... and then that happens. XD Disturbing and charming all at once, not sure which one to settle for... it reminds me a bit of Happy Tree Friends, of which episodes always left me in a similarly dubious state... either way nicely done. Props on surprise.

Truly I did the cartoon on 2008.
Now I added the Pico fight at starting (a "lost" animation test of those year as well), I added this music... and it seems people like it more than the old one.

[Vikings]

Hey, a fellow Swede! :D Gotta love the theme, and part from that the animation's great, simple but smooth - with gradient backgrounds that sometimes seem an unnaturally detailed contrast. It's all easy to follow and fun to watch, though the music... feels a bit strange. Experimental like the genre. It's uplifting music, but at the same time it really doesn't feel like anything that'd relate to 'Vikings'. I'd picture something a bit more fast-paced and ferocious, or pompous, or Norse... basically just something very different. It doesn't sound like your traditional intro music either, which maybe breaks the impression of this as an intro. It feels more like a teaser, or prelude, until that final traditional trademark splash. :)

Would love to see more Vikings, though! Nice work. And interesting read on the process behind it.

Tackar! Didn't think there were that many Swedes around here. ^^

It stated off as an intro but then as we dragged out some scenes and put in sound effects it sort of turned into a different thing as just as you mentioned. The music got a bit more, um playful? than I first had imagined. I told my friend who was in charge of it (who really hasn't made that much stuff before this) to mimic the opening of an anime called "Slayers", which didn't turn out that great, so after that I just told her to make her own thing. I'd imagine the sound guys did a lot of trial and error just like I did.

Anyway, I'll see what I can come up with next time, and thank you for such a detailed review! It was really hard for me to put into words what was off with the music for example. ^^'

[Chronicles in Space - Monkey Business]

Not sure what happened at the end there, just floating around in space... but until that point it was going pretty good! Entertaining. Also wonder who claimed that kingly title on that one planet hmm... nice work.

Well that was random! Sounds almost like a Game Grumps sketch, like something snatched out from an unrelated sketch and then appended animation... is it? Doesn't seem like there's any reference to such a thing in the description though... overall a random but entertaining animation, though out of context not always all that fun. Some good moments though!

[Purgatory (Animated Short)]

So this was made back in... 1846? :P Entertaining short, though when that cat pops up at the end there the Gnome seems somewhat surprised... like he's not sure if he can take on the cat or not, like he wonders if the cat had any part on his purgatory, like he doesn't know into which world he just entered... trying to figure out what his expression tells, but considering he just went through hell maybe any fraction would be a natural reaction! Love the idea, and the fluent movement with the animation too. Mood builds up nicely.

The original story was that the garden cats had created this purgatory for him. However as we ran out of time before our hand in at university, that last shot didn't really get the attention it needed so it doesn't really tell the story as we planned. Thank you for commenting.

Was starting to think that sounded a lot like Game Grumps... but hey, a stream I didn't know about! :D They got the voice impressions spot on. Entertaining short (and stylish intro, oldskool).
