I see it. :) Even if it doesn't pass judgement know that it was good fun! Might be good to weave in a little plotline, or have a title that's a bit more descriptive, but good start. Simple fun.

GamerM12345 responds:

Thank you so much for the response, I’ve tried multiple time to make an animation but nobody ever see it(maybe because of how there’s not much to it. But if you looked at my YouTube, you will see a much better title. Don’t ask why I didn't go for that title on newgrounds.

Nicely done...

Not entirely sure if the sphere in the sky was the moon or more a dangerous alien life form though? The way it pulsates, and the distance doesn't seem right if it is the moon... though I assume it is. Seems like the intended punchline.

I like the idea but execution could be a bit clearer if that is it.

OccultTooner responds:

thanks for the feedback. it is suppose to be the moon i just put it extremely close on purpose. the pulsating was a mistake but i wasnt going to re render it again xD

Hope this trend catches on again after this! :D

Fun dose of nostalgia, and creative angle on the whole presentation. I keep waiting for a glimpse of your face though, at least for a second! Something integral's just missing without it! XD

Nicely done. May that fancount keep a rising; the content keep surprising!

Mabelma responds:

Jijiji glad you enjoyed it! Yeah tried to keep it as close to the originals from back in the day. I’m not sure if there was any with face reveals but this was suprisingly fun and I might try more live action stuff in the future for sure. Face included.

The sound effects and voice though lmao! XD

The movement's fluent, but those just add so much; somehow make it all the more a real thing. Abridging worlds there.

Great pacing too. Good stuff.

astrong responds:

Thank You.

Oh gosh no lmao. XD What a twist at the end... you see a lot of houses that still have asbestos roofs over here, in more rural areas. Someday people finna have some problems there.

The detail levels in these are always off the charts but this one just might be the most detailed yet? From the holographic projections to interior glimpses to the the ship and lit city background itself: utmost impressive.

Atmospheric too! Love the dust particles floating around, and the hoverning giant... reminded me a bit of when Adam's first revealed in Neon Genesis, nailed up on a wall.

Nice and spooky. Happy Early Halloween RTC!

RadioTubeClock responds:

Thanks for the review! I work for an HOA and have encountered the occasional Asbestos-Cement piping in our water mains although thankfully it's more the exception than the rule.

Is there.. a message here? Something to be learned or uncovered? I don't get it at all but I do like the style. The dad does look a lot like Gordon Freeman too. XD

loydeanimation responds:

hey! sorry for the late reply! yup, i planned a message behind the whole story. i appreciate your feedback! also, if you feel like it, tell me what you didn't get. i have to get better at writing, so it might not have been you not getting the story, rather me not conveying the message enough.
GORDON FREEMAN

Lotta light in that city, and what a highrise! :D Dope introduction. Though would've been even cooler with a bit more impact at the end, a crater and billowing cloud of dust when he lands, like...

Cool stuff though as always, keep it up!

jumpbreak96 responds:

forgot about all the impact fx. was going do it. dont know what happened but i just missed it. rip

This was FUN! :D Fluid motions, great voicing (though some of the Japanese pronunciations could maybe be improved) and a premise with both action and comedy and all.

Pleasure to watch, and it seems there'll be more...

russmarrs2 responds:

Glad you enjoyed, thanks for the review!

What a grand debut!

You nailed the gestures, and both soundtrack and effects, birds and everything, feels interchangeably calm and ambient and so suitably foreboding between the action scenes, and the way certain items and events are highlighted both makes it easy to follow and makes it seem a bit like a game, if the figures didn't look so different I could imagine I was playing something like Resident Evil here, atmospheric...

I wonder if it'd be possible to have the names in dialog the same color as the actual characters? That way it'd be easy to see who's saying what, and to connect a name to their actions.

Honored to be here from the get go; can't wait for the next part! Keep up the good work!

MATRVG responds:

I'm flattered, man... thanks for your enormous compliments! It's been a pleasure for me if I made you enjoyed ^^

So to speak, I am actually planning game for this saga but not fully yet, and I don't know anyone who has game-making talent :P So I stick with animating as I fit.

About subtitles... Mejson and MariogD asked same question... let me explain it to you.

If I have done it by your request, "Stickman Colored Subtitles"... then viewer couldn't decide which people are good or bad...

When it comes to my doing... during subtitle, whoever say it, their head move up-down (a bit crazy XD), pretending like they're talking. Why single color? No, not actually:

Good people are shown as "Green" subtitles.
Bad people are shown as "Red" subtitles.
Neutral people are shown as "Yellow" subtitles.
Civilian/Harmless people are shown as "White" subtitles.
Mystery/Secret people are shown as "Darker Gray" subtitles.

Of course you had to be here, man! Thanks for best wishes, I won't let you all down!

Dope visuals, dope voicing, dope soundtrack... and a review by MindChamber no less! :D How much more hype can this game induce. Really looking forward to it. It gives me heavy Resident Evil vibes at this point too, and I loved that game so... hype..

Alucard responds:

Nice man, and your name is on credits what's even better.
Since many years back here I've always read your reviews on content,
you were always very specific, detalist, like, you could see that dude took the time to write the review (which is something all content creators trully love to see from fans)
Nonetheless you could review that much cuz you're a great artist too, bro
Your talent in writing poems and lyrics is amazing. But not just that, I've played ur games too, and all my dude
This tittle has great value if you look into the people get together to craft the concept, plus the mechanics works on every windows64bits - there's heavy shooting against monsters - effects on the firefights - with that 90' concept - lots of fog and shadows rofl
