Who'd eat a frozen carrot anyway? On a snowman of all places! Who knows where that carrot's been. O_o

Started to expect the horrible end that was soon as you zoomed in on the stonemans scarily silent noseless grin after his carrot went missing. It's like a mix between Halloween and Christmas. Interesting style of animation, and nice work on the screams and sound effects (though I ponder the wisdom in encouraging people to really turn UP their volume...). Keep it going!

ClockworkPixel responds:

Thank you :) and well with the volume, the sounds aren't the loudist and i just wanted to be sure that people didnt think it had no sound if they had their volune down

Wonder if it's the lights or the music that Frank doesn't like. :P Simple; feelgood Christmas animation. Nice work!

Budj responds:

He's more of a halloween type individual.

Congrats on a long ten years! Not sure the poop really adds to the festivity, but I guess that type of thing might be synononymous with the brand by now. ;) I recognize some of the characters, but far from all... that's really quite the collective! A Very Merry Koity Christmas to you too; looking forward to another decade of sometimes disturbing but usually pretty entertaining animation!

koit responds:

Thanks mate - yeah a "shit" brand :)

Haha, nice one. Gets me thinking of similar plots for Magikarp, though course that'd be BEFORE he evolves. Keep it going!

Evy-Devy responds:

Thanks. The sequel will be Magikarp vs Feebas. It will be REALLY EPIC!!!! And the finale for the trilogy will be Ditto versus it's twin, Ditto. (JK)

Interesting mesh of styles and artistry! There seems to be more sliding, swirling, panning and splattering images than actual animation (the character herself a colorful exception) but it turned out an interesting and effective way to illustrate the story. Wish there was more to this! Really nice work with all the detail in those illustrations, and the special effects, the glow, the colorful dots floating around harmoniously, occasional vector images framing in the scenes. Keep it going!

Aye thank you! Time constraints were a big focus for the project with about 8 weeks from start to deadline plus some extra for final edits, I wanted a real polished piece to hand in but it was quickly becoming clear that full on animation (not allowed to use flash!) was guna be too much. SO, I took inspiration from the CG scenes from Diablo 3: RoS and Guild Wars 2 and decided I'd try mimic the feel of a moving world but with limited and quick animations actually taking place! The bits that work best are Red herself as each picture was arranged, printed, inked and motion captured back in but it was all getting a bit pricey and time consuming... for a Uni project at least! ;D

So that's what happens if you don't accept your FB friend requests. :P Or rather: that's what happens when you spend all your time on FB and stop caring about the world itself? Hope that's the message, a profound and inspiring one, yet still brought forth in a light-hearted and entertaining way! Animation's great too. Nice work!

AaLBERT responds:

Yes, that was the message :D
I'm glad you understand it besides it was on Spanish :)

And thanks for your glad words! ^w^

lol, good thing all customers aren't like that! :D I wonder... were the furry accessories always this dynamic? The ears, the hair, flickering around with every moment, looks very lifely all od a sudden! Keep up the good work!

WaldFlieger responds:

Thanks so much! :D

The vicious cycle of politics! Maybe slightly exagerated background violence, but it gets the point across! Animation was great, cartoony and fluid, the cries of violence like white noise in the background (also suitable since the character didn't seem to hear them) and that patch of blood what seems to be the beginning and end and new beginning of this vicious worldly cycle. Nice work!

Ex-Poser responds:

Thanks for the constructive feedback cd. You did figure out the theme revolving around the cycle of politics. That blood splat at the end however, revolves around the concept of past rulers and the "death" of their career. Also, when I have the politician fade away, it means that people forget him in the pool of other members of politics (the blood).

Short, simple and efficient, and even with the snowflakes but flakes of paper it really gets the holiday spirit across. The subtle motions of all individual flakes is probably the most impressive part, the character doesn't do much, but does appear with appreciation and presence, an element of life in what would probably otherwise be a somewhat somber paper landscape. Nice work!
