Stickmen without faces somehow look very strange when the backgrounds aren't white and blank hmm, entertaining venture through the Stickman world otherwise! And with voices! Turned out pretty good.

Thanks! :)

Wish these episodes were a liiitlle bit longer! Was just getting into the Alien atmosphere when... it's done. Good facts though, all new and unknown, and from a franchise I've seen so much of too. Looking forward to the next one!

ZenithQuinn responds:

longer means more expensive and harder to get out weekly. Maybe when the channel gets more popular on youtube i can afford to double the episodes! However the next one is Jurassic Park and that'll be a minute long

Looks like the start of something epic! Sprite work is great, but what really sets it on a new level compared to so much other sprite animation is the sound. The melancholy music that soon grows in intensity, the effects, the voice, the intention! Got goosebumps on a couple points there, that most intense part of the speech, the reboot... surprised a sprite animation would have such an effect!

It really shifts atmosphere when Sonic jumps into the picture though, and I like the clash of atmosphere between good and evil, dark and light, a plot slowly brewing and taking shape... watched from start to finish and enjoyed every second. Looking forward to the next one!!

Thanks for watching man! I really appreciate your comments. Things like this push me to work more intently on detail and make it even better! :D

cheers

Hah, I knew it'd end like that! A fun; fast-paced musical venture till that devasting ending there, full of color and joy and happy crafting. Nice work!

Thank you! :)

What an artistic trip across the bridge of life and.. whatever's after it! Pretty brutal premise for the plot, but that otherside venture was awesome. Slick; creative animation all the way, and contrastingly minimal black and white for the 'real world'. Could be a message in there somewhere. :P Nice work!

Btw, really thought this would have something to do with the movie with the same name.

AliensOnToast responds:

Thanks dude :) I didn't even know that there was a movie by the same name until after I released it :/ It was a name assigned to me for the film challenge. And I agree, there's probably a message in there somewhere ;) Thanks for the review :)

Interesting landlord you have there! Apparantely a nonsensical ramble might not be the most entertaining thing to listen to though... and combined with the ambient music it feels all the more... slow and... uneventful. Animation's nice, audio's somewhat entertaining, but it felt a bit slow overall. Interesting idea though!

ndcanton responds:

thanks! i did a couple of these as audio only for my friends (part of the joke for me was the ambience mixed with this nervous guy's repetition/hypnotic rambling), i thought it would be good to see what was happening on the other end of the phone. agreed though, not much development for a narrative piece.

Nice little animation, warm and colorful, bright and happy, even if the wings make it seem like at least one of the main character is no longer with us... feels like a metaphor that can be misunderstood easily! I liked it though, especially the hand-drawn textures.

zvch3 responds:

Yeah I see where the wings can be misleading, but it was to support the corny text at the end lol. I'm alive and well, I can assure you that!

Hah, an entertaining lesson too! Random; fun. Nice work!

Zikpotimus responds:

oh thank u!

Sooo random! Entertaining plotwise, but it seems like it could use some more puns and punchlines, some more things that make sense, maybe some more effectual sound-effects to go with actions... I'm thinking when the train speeds forth, when the cub comes flying, when the big bear roars in rage, the overall atmosphere is surprisingly silent. So much detail in the visuals, not so much in the sound. Anyway, looking forward to how this series turns out, seems like it could turn into anything!

Cameron-Ohara responds:

Thank you very much!! I'm no so good with sound mixing, but I'll give it some more thought in the next one.

P.S. There's a new animation test up!! lol... super short though... :(
