Sounds like how it must be like to drive a Uber these days, pretty much. :) Been thinking it might actually be an interesting job though, speaking to new people... about the same old things... maybe not huh. Good sketch again.

Entertaining little sketch, though was going to comment on how the audio could use a bit better recording source but eh... seems that bit's not so easy to do anything about! Animation's progressing, though I think something that deviates from the dialog itself would be good too. Step outside the room a bit. Visualize what's being talked about? With animation normal restrictions don't apply.

Lindenbree responds:

Heh, I didn't even think people would assume the audio recording was bad! It's that way to imitate the game it's based on (Delta Rune). In it, Jevil has a compressed-sounding echoey voice. But I totally get why you might think it was just a crappy mic in a wind tunnel!
Hm... I did try to think more animation...y. Especially with the backgrounds sliding. But I guess I need to go further with stuff like that. Thanks for the review!

Gaining new insights into the Yugioh universe with each one of these. XD Seems like an... entertaining group of people who partake in this particular event! Ain't individuality an awesome thing. Good stuff.

It's a weird but fun community to be in ;) expect more soon my dude, glad you enjoyed!

Trading blows hmm. :) Simple bit of fun! Voices spot on too.

She's definitely pretty good at this dancing thing!

Pretty impressive for a first!

I like the style, and the atmosphere, but I think you could work a bit more on guiding the viewer. It took a while before I realized her voice was the problem - thought the first key was a razer, and towards the end I'm not sure if she greets the monster in naivety, or raises her hand in fear? Does the monster try to kill her, but give her a voice instead? Or only attempt to help her, and the machine misunderstands and kills the monster...? And why were they embarking into the pit in the first place? In search for her voice? Something else? Did the robot decide to help her? The 'thoughtless' bit above makes it seem like maybe it had no reason after all.

I like where this was going, but in the end it leaves me confused a bit. Uncertain of what I've seen; wishing it was clearer.

Marckel responds:

Thanks for the critique CD! I think the main problem is in pacing and where I choose to "place the camera" when things happen. The cryptic atmosphere was intentional, but if it was too confusing then the narrative must need improvement.

I do like to tell my stories in little bits though. The next one (whenever that may be) might raise more questions, but hopefully easier to digest.

Pretty much exactly what it felt like. XD Good times though.

Happy Easter to you too! Merging the icons here hmm... it works! Something for the more modern audience. Perfect loop too.

So you were the one behind this one. XD One of the most memorable ones, for better or worse... no possible complaints in regard to the animation though. Or audio. All great.

Stands well on its own too.

FuShark responds:

Hah, thanks dude. Glad it still holds up.

Getting some real The Ultimate Showdown vibes with this one! :D Some of the melody really seems to match too. Lyrics are pure genius. Comedy's on point. Animation goes with it well, too. Love the Arnold verse in particular. Thanks for this!
