Nice, simple and adventurous. :) I probably skipped a few of the level layouts (since I assume the numbers by the doors, which you buy through the use of coins, are also level numbers you skip to?) but the ones I did play were all both creative and logic, some of them more challenging than others, all of them easy to understand. The controls were a bit too smooth at times, and it was easy to just slide of platforms by mistake, for example, but it was a fun game! And an inspiring end. Nice work!

This was a fun game, despite the monotonous style of fighting. The monsters do evolve, slowly, and the stats progressively increase. Medals are a nice addition too, I doubt I'd have played this much without them. The design is crisp, and the controls are as basic as they can get. It's not a complex fighting system but it does require some extra leveling between levels, not just one after the other. Some more monsters would be nice, but even better would be some animation, like the character actually swinging his sword when he fights, stuff like that, and a faster pace of walk/battle, maybe an option to toggle game speed? The only real flaw of this game is how time-consuming it is. Nice work otherwise, keep it going! Btw, hope you don't make any changes that disrupt the save system cause I finally made it past level 60. :) Nice work!

Always liked Angry Birds, and though this doesn't really compare to the original in matters of variation and physics, it's a good game! Some levels are harder than they should be though, as the rocks sometimes land o ntop of birds without even harming them, and blanks fall on top of them without really touching them, and the projectiles don't really cause as much descruction as they could. It's a fun game, and the medals are rewarding, but it would be nice with some more projectile force, some more destruction, birds that aren't so tough. :) Keep it going!

Woo, a masterpiece of addictive platformer violence, and quite different from the regular shoot em ups. This actually reminds me of one of my favorite games, Urban: The Cyborg Project, an old game that doesn't seem to work on any new computers. The plot is pretty much the same, an experiment, waking to life, going rampant, shooting up researchers and enforcement alike. Of course that game had guns, which this one didn't, but they're both just as entertaining. I like the detail of the levels, the detail of the destruction and bloodsplatter, and the cachy music, the cutscenes, the detailed cover image. It all builds up an impressive game. If only this had a few medals to encourage gameplay it would be PERFECT. Great work!

This was simple fun. :) Together with the time limit it becomes a challenge, too, and there are plenty of levels to look for muffins in... and Derpy. :P Nice work; Happy Derpy Day!

That was actually fun. The text commands were a bit confusing at first though, and not all of them can be used in all places, but just talking to the people give good clues on where and who to look and talk with/at. It was a quick adventure. This script could probably be developed into some real story, and if you do, might be better with even shorter commands, and names, lmao, make it easier to type them in. :) Nice work!

PhantomCat responds:

I was actually basing this on the Quill, so every command and noun is actually four letters, and oodles of synonyms. Instead of typing "Talk MiracleFruitClock" you could just say "yo m" or "n" for "go north"

It's a genre that died for a reason.

(and now that this was three months ago and nobody will ever read this, the parser only sees two words that are four letters long. "Go North" gets sent as "GO NORT". I used Miraclefruitclock just because he has a really long name, but you really just need to type Mira)

That was fun. Not too challenging, and not simple enough to not be challenging at all. The only flaw of this game is that the music starts again every time you click Reset, so eventually multiple instances of the track are looping simultaneously, and that sounds a bit weird...otherwise, great game! Keep it going!

I like the layout of a game, but at the same time it feels like there is no... point. It just keeps going and going, or is there an end? The beasts are varied, the controls are simple, the graphics are nice and pixely and overall it's a both addicting and challenging venture, but it feels there's nothing to reach for. Maybe add more of a plot? Keep it going!

I wanted to keep it a simple arcadey experience, so the motivation is trying to survive as long as you can and get a high score. I didn't want to make it a story game as, with this sort of game, I think it's more effective to leave that up to the player's imagination.
