Heeey I remember Wahnsinn! All these namechanges, hard to keep track of...

Love how this starts vicious right off the bat, and never slows, but never grows monotone either. The beat's steady but shifts too; the guitar/synth's the real highlight though, and the bass man, when it gets the spotlight... masterful stuff. Aggressive and beautiful.

A joy to listen to this, though can't help wonder how it'd sound with some vocals on it! Would be the icing on the... glacier.

Thanks bro! There's a version with vocals on NG/Spotify etc. Just search PseudoSignal Hierophant :)

Gotta love good storytelling! Your buddy has a good voice for the chorus too, suitably rough for the story, though maybe a little strained too..

The beat really doesn't in the way of the rap. Good backing, a little jazzy, a lot of bass. Finna listen to more of your work later on! This was solid.

I love when you can manage an atmosphere like this without going overboard with the sound design either, no distracting adlibs, nothing unnecessary, just the craft.

Nice work.

A liiittle repetitive ain't it! That melody that just plays and plays for the first minute straight...

Gets appreciatively funky after that though, and the repetitive melody... kind gets hypnotic. Kinda reels you in in the end... still wish it shapeshifted a bit more but not bad. Final slow down's nice. Smooth percussion too, a little triangle or cowbell in there too...?

Sounds good just: repeats, yes.

I think it good too nm! Cathartic chiptune vibes, heartfelt slice of life type of melody that starts off soft and grows nicely. Reverberates, catches a calm yet catchy beat and surfs the waves of sound and space, drops out a bit and picks up again...

It's a calming little thing. Would've been cool longer but the little things ain't bad either... good vibe.

Don't know about the 'sum gangster type' though. XD Sounds more like a Chiptune Gandhi to me, or just clouds, space, waves, adventurous or natural ambience...

Props on a very very unique vocal mix! Though sometimes a little hard to hear the words, it's pushed back a lot; a little far behind the music, or low and growly...

Lyrics are great though, and the style... it's almost like Halloween Jazz. Never heard anything like this before. I love the vibe and overall sound. Experimental. Interesting. Loses a bit of the eeriness in the second half though and just goes more so all out experimental.

...until the very very end! What a trip... maybe not perfect but wholesome and unique.

Reminds me a bit of Bomb The Bass's Clear album. Similar style but... not really.

The mind is a strange place too hmm, suitable title.

Well that was crazy. XD Wasn't sure what to expect with the intro but possibly something pretty ferocious... yet it turned out an occasionally way more soothing sojourn in the end, with a lot of dnb but ambience too, calming streams and bird-like sfx in the background...

Unique and really cool mix. Loudness seems to be on the edge for how loud it can be though, wonder if you're losing some frequencies; potential extra ambience pushing it that far.

Dope work though. Atmospheric. Beautiful. Calm but intense, a little repetitive occasionally but not too much... it's a strange clash but it works!

thanks so much!

Pretty funky and soulful for a VG track! Has that reverberating chiptune style too, akin to old GB/GBA games, and really quick shifts occasionally... keeps a good mood all the way, rises and falls; shifts around a bit... though does keep a very similar temp and structure all the way through. I really like the ending, but would've been cool with something like that more in the midst of it; to shift things up even more!

Seems like this loops though huh... that's a definite plus, useful for game use from the get go too.

Maybe not the most unique and crazy VG mix but cozy, calming and rich!

Nice work.

Definitely getting those classic bluesy, Southern rock kind of vibes... I love the style, plenty of reverb with the vocals, soulful guitar, good percussion and an atmosphere that feels both catchy and sentimental somehow... the duet towards the end was a pleasant surprise too!

Feel like the vocals are a little sparse though, it's like there are chorus and bridges but no verses... would've liked more text; more of a story. The voice is like the ultimate catalyst for the soul, that thing which makes the blues truly the blues... when it's not a more steady company the emotions lose a little bit of their edge I feel.

But overall: great work. Great atmosphere. Wholesome composition instrumentally.

Thanks for the feedback! That is interesting. Usually, I feel like the opposite is the problem - there are verses but no discernable chorus. I'll keep your comment in mind and try to think about it the other way around in the future.

That hang spot lmao. XD Maybe they didn't really have a place though; they didn't want you to know that..

Not often I listen to R&B, but I can dig this, though I'm getting a bit more Blues than R&B vibes from it. That classy jazz-like improv too. Progression... feels like it could be leading somewhere; building towards something more. But it sounds like the kind of spot you'd want to be at. Comfortable; groovy; not too complicated... a good place to hang.

That beautiful brass, delighting drums, jazzy light improv style all the way... I don't know much about swing but I could probably tango to this. Maybe. If I knew how to tango. Metaphorically otherwise?

The audio quality's crisp and the music keeps you in, I really love stuff like this, melodic and moving... it's great all the way, though maybe fades a bit quick at the end.

Beautiful play y'all.

Thanks for your review CD! Now that I think of it.. maybe Summit Samba would be more fitting. Oh if I could turn back time
