For some reason this reminds me of Deep Purple... must be the electric organ type synth here, though this definitely has a more digital kind of sound to it, and two layers, of which the other almost sounds like... an accordion? Super bad at recognizing instruments like this but either way it's an interesting; functional mix. Upbeat and jazzy, definitely with some VG vibes but not at all VG-like after all. Solid house beat and an unexpected melody to go with it.

Refreshingly new yet a little repetitive, goes with the genre though I guess...

Man if you didn't have the lyrics in the description I never would've heard this. XD Not the theme I would've expected! Sounded like something Halloween like...

Props on creativity! And the beat's bangin', thoroughly atmospheric albeit a little monotone.

Good stuff.

Is that a trombone in back? Love the brass, love the slow build, the vocoder's cool too though a little hard to hear - if it's intended that you should - the lyrics. It's a spacey; atmospheric kind of trip when that kicks in...

I do love the build, and how it takes some time for it to start getting there, but there... it doesn't feel like it really does. It stays on the verge of building. In the end... I'm left a little disappointed.

Maybe the volume could gradually increase it builds too, more than it already does, or there'd just be a bit more you could add to it all... it's an awesome start. Atmospheric.

IMO just not all the way there. Not as conclusive as it could be.

What an awesome voice, though the recording... could maybe use some desibilizing, if not better equipment? Not sure if it's just the mix that's lacking, but it doesn't feel as rich or in line with the music as I imagine it could be. Though easy to hear.

And the music! Woo. Awesome work. Vocal mix though... something just feels a little off about it.

Overall love this.

Pixsoul (the singer) just gave me her vocals she did for her channel, she used low budget gear, etc. just for fun. Maybe try my song "Undefeatable", you'll hear vocals with professional gear!

This one really takes you places, trippy, eerie, Castlevania or Resident Evil-like at times, like that scene where they're fighting that gigantic snake... nice contrast between the synth and the heaaavy percussion. And it keeps surprising. Anti-scare sample. Tingles and trails and overall just a trip of a track all the way till the finish.

A little high up on loudness maybe, but the atmosphere's dope. So solid.

Hope you don't really go postal though! Except like postal services. Like a stamp.

Hi !
Thank you very much for this very detailed review !
That's one of the first tracks I made with FL10. The mixing sounds "hard" I think, I wasn't able to use FL tools correctly...
And I had some crazy ideas of melodies on that time, maybe I was drunk when I made this song :p
Thanks again for your review !

Was this made for the game it's featured in, Valkyrie Command?

It's a good battle theme, steady and tense, but with a rising and falling that doesn't let you get walled in. Fades out a little and then... picks up again! Good game structure.

The sound quality's clear and easy on the ear too.

Maybe not an incredibly memorable melody overall but good energy; good quality.

I like the tribal percussion bits too. Good stuff all the way.

Upbeat and groovy, house but soothing! I'm not fully catching the candy feeling, maybe not really sweet and spiffy enough, how does candy even sound, but it does sound like a grand adventure..

It's ear candy for sure! Dope work. Could maybe vary the melody a bit more but it shifts nicely, good mix, good breaks, simple but functional fade at the end too.

yea if i could redo this project i would, not super proud of it tbh

oh well, the fans like it well enough

Tetris Effect hmm, might be worth a play... feels like you might be pushing the loudness a bit much here, very prominent bass, but the melody's both intricate and catchy otherwise.

Would probably work really well in an arcade-type game too! Nice work.

Ambient and nice... a little repetitive with the main melody in addition to the beat repeating itself most of the way through this, but the new layer past the 2:10 mark shifts it up nicely...

Easy listening. Smooth work. Not too loud either.
