Not all of these seem that sad though, some are hopeful, some are cathartic, some are like the sunshine after a long rain, the rays falling on the wreckage of a passing storm... like for example 'autumn blend'. To me it doesn't sound that much like autumn after all, maybe more like spring, like the time when things awaken and rise more so than wither and die and all... and some are soothing; calming; overall GOOD in so many different ways... I don't catch the sadness on but a few really. Maybe more so a melancholy...
I like the lo-fi tone, and the beats overall are solid, the grooves good, the layers atmospheric.
Feels like the production on some parts - especially louder ones - are a little flat, like for example around the 18 minute mark - the vocal samples here too don't feel as vibrant as they could be. Some of them end pretty abruptly too - like for example this same one. The mix overall could maybe be a little wider; richer; more nuanced, but then again it is lo-fi, which is definitely a more saturated; low down sound... so maybe this is what you're going for. Doesn't seem as noticeable when the volume's a little lower though; it feels more vibrant then for the most part. Maybe mix does differ from track to track; maybe the frequency range cuts off a little on the high-end ones...
Would be nice with timestamps more so than track lengths in the description so you know exactly to which point to skip if you want to listen to one particular track.
Overall: impressive set! Impressive showcase of variation, and various feels.
They're not all the most vibrant but they do all hold the groove well, and all feel suitably atmospheric, and they're an impressive collective! I lose track of the titles after a while... but my favorite one here might actually be the autumn blend specifically. Feels richer than a lot of the later ones, but maybe it also feels new at that point; I lose the precision for judgement later on...
Awesome work compiling and making all of these! Looking forward to what more you do.
