Math isn't my forte, so if it was one that pythagoreum theorum pun went straight over my head, but the DnB definitely got into it. Not as heavy as I'd expected, but creatively punchy, and picturing Tank growling along pounding pellets at whatever's in his way makes it a pretty cool trip. Refreshingly different round of DnB! Happy late Pico Day!

Quarl responds:

Oh trust me, I also suck at math.

Doesn't get much more triumphant than this! Was expecting less, really. I love the build-up. Somber, promising, sort and soon almost psychedelically frantic, the angelic voices, the synth, the final push and then... it all fades out. Can see the potential for this being used in a ton of submissions! Hope it does. Don't think I'd class it as a loop though, as it feels like a very finite piece.

Phonometrologist responds:

Thank you Cyberdevil for stopping by to give your thoughts about it. In regards to looping it, I just wanted the ending to transition well to the beginning since most people prefer to have a loop on their own submissions-- wanted to make it accessible. Worth the experiment anyway.
Good descriptive points given.

Proper uplifting energy-fueld ambience, this one. :) I think you even have some guitar mixed in, and not just the electric one...? Pretty unorthodox melody with that, but flows well, and I like the pace overall, also has a bit of a Final Fantasy feel to it, a bit melancholy, a bit like a waltz, and the background beat almost sounds like a beatbox. :) Creative, smooth, consistently varied, with tone shifts and subtle instrumental details, suitable fades and build-up's... overall this really feels like your most polished track yet. I can imagine hearing this either games or animations, the professional kind I mean, really polished, atmospheric and easy-moving. The music lives. Nice work. And might get some bias because I love DnB, even if this is pretty unlike the DnB I usually listen to. It's a nice hybrid.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I put a lot of effort into this one, especially the piano. I admit that I have come quite far from my early stages (as you have seen so yourself), and I am glad that someone noticed! Yes, there is also an acoustic guitar in the background, you noticed :)
Wow, you really think this could go for a professional level? That means so much to me, you had already encouraged me earlier but now this is gonna go to new heights! Thanks man!

A pretty smooth dance/trace piece, with subtle dubstep influence! Not the most mesmerizing melody IMO, compared to some of your other tracks, but it's easy to listen too; flows well. Background layers and breaks all work good just... doesn't really have that something extra to make it stand out!

Another pompous piece! Feels like classical too until the transition, then with a little rock mixed in too. I like the many layers, details: the air horn, the frantic beat, the rich melody (that's the kind of 'shift' I was talking about in the one earlier review). Pause around the 2 minute mark feels almost too subtle, and silent, without a effectual 'fade' or anything leading up to it... but otherwise I like the flow. That melody's both ominous and icy, really nice work, just feels the structure could be better.

I really like the story-telling ambience at the start, and the victorious outro, and the pompous music of war inbetween too. :) Seems to tell its own story, though as a musical piece it's a bit strange with all three pieces tied together like this - I think for a background it'd be easier with three separate pieces for the individual parts too, or you'd need to pace the whole animation after this. Sounds pompous!

Oooh that jittery sparkle-like synth! :D Nice! Seems to have taken a turn for the more ambient this one, chillstep more than dubstep, though it picks up, and seems to move to both house and trance with the latter portions. I really liked the first part of it better, and not really hearing the dubstep in this one either apart from highly infrequent drops, but it's an interesting mash-up of different genres. Feels more like a spin-off than a remake on the original. Well, like a sequel, more-like - so different from the original.

Listening back I liked the simplicity in that one, and how it didn't move so much between styles, but overall sound, pace, and pretty much everything about this really shows the progress since then! MUCH more polished, and dynamic, and easy on the ears. Would've preferred a more consistent piece, but the music's great.

Think this is the first track of yours I hear with a 'real' kick in it. :) Like the variation, and the contrast between light/heavy sounds. The melody's smooth, focused, and with plenty of added sound detail, and breaks that really 'lift'! The main parts come off sounding somewhat... slow, but apart from that I really like this one! Feels polished and fresh. Nice piece.

You got something good! :) And hey, even some Star Wars-like lasers firing away in the background! Overall I feel it has a Star Wars kind of sound to it. That pompous, battle ready feel you get on the cinema, but... with a twist. It's a pretty sublime hybrid of orchestral and electronic (almost like electro), though I'm not really hearing the dubstep, seems more like general electronic/classic/orchestral/cinematic. Nice work though!

Crisp and icy pixel sounding tune with pleasant melodic echo. Chill and awesome!
