This is pretty cool. A bit blank and plotless at the start, and a bit slow overall, but the clash between 3D and 2D is genius. Does this strange alien duck dude have a name? Keep it going!

CoolDrMoney responds:

Yea thats what I was afraid of. It took me so long to make all this stuffand I had to sort of rush it and in the end it's a little on the boring side.

It does not have a name. It is just the embodiment of anxiety.

About time one of these got an award, congrats! Though it's in Spanish the jokes translate well, the animations both brutal and fun. I'm wondering about the dot on his shoulder though, what is that? A split personality/his human side? Keep up the good work!

It's a Flea, his best and unique friend.

Well this was well-animated, but for someone who hasn't seen the movie (?) and has no idea who Klaus Kinski was, it makes zero sense. Maybe explain a little in the description? I was thinking therer'd be a point at the end, like there's a hole in the boat so it can't be used anyway, or the waves roll in and the boat floats out while he's lying on the ground, or he wakes up and it was just a a dream but... nothing happens. :/

Paperguest responds:

You have a point there. Thank you for your review.

This definately deserved/s a daily place at least, unless it was one of those days where tons of masterpieces manifest at the same time. But then again it is the first episode of a new series by a still relatively unknown artist, so popularity will no doubt pick up soon! Can't say the title is the most captivating, but once you start watching it is plenty entertaining.

I liked the fact that everything in the introduction rhymed, and after that it's just like a regular cartoon. Mostly entertaining, occasionally a bit slow, so far without any incredibly exciting plot developments or laughable puns, but it's all well put-together; I'll be looking forward to the next ep!

WeirdoGoon responds:

Thanks a lot! Yeah, unfortunately it got uploaded the same time as Happy Harry and Sexy Lobster so it was over-shadowed. Thanks for watching, I think you will like the 2nd ep a lot, things will pick up!

What a crazy ending... shame, almost... an interactive choice right after the window revelation, letting the character either join in on the demonic ritual and stand united with the fictional love of his life upon the snake god, or... fall out of the tree and let the world - would be cool. Either way though, the surprise is part of what makes this great. The other part, is the comedial genius leading upto that point. It's all about those eyes! And other things. As always, great work!

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks.

What cute style of animation! It's like Paper Mario (ironically with SEGA characters, I think, at least one). It's an obvious pick for a brutal savage piece of animation like this turned out to be, lmao. Not sure what happens at the end but... that was interesting. Maybe I should play Sonic Adventureland 2...

Mosamabindrawin responds:

I love paper mario! Its one of my favorite games! and you should play sonic adventure 2 just for the chao!

Woo, back to bassics, IOW Nevada! It's a great animation overall, the blood effects, the flashes, the fire, the shells on the ground, bulletholes on the floor... you really pay attention to detail, and that's the difference between a good Madness flash and a great one. Like the shell that lands on a locker, or the ricochets that bounce on more than one surface. Really good work, good length, good everything! Happy Madness!

Gibb50 responds:

Thanks, I was really going for attention to detail in this :)
Even with something I don't think anyone noticed yet, the red sky slightly rises up when it zooms up to the guy on the roof. To give it that feel of distance.

Beautiful. Don't know what else to say about it, the animation didn't need speech to describe it; more to describe it would seem reduntant. All aspects are just perfects, though maybe the underarms are a bit too thick, they make me think of Popeye all the time which kinda ruins the atmosphere just a little. Otherwise, great work!

Mogly responds:

Yeah, the forearms were defiantly an obscure homage to Popeye. Ha. The reason basically was I wanted to show that the man had lived a lifetime as a grafter, a labourer. He still had that built up strength, only now, with his age, he had become frail and shaky. I still wanted him to have the conviction of his youth, but with the truth of his present ability.

In other words I thought it looked funny. Ha.

Ta for the review buddy

I'm both grossed out and fascinated by the watch, it's a genius story, a quick decay of bodily life and function, all perfectly synced with music. Best of all, there's a moral in here: don't smoke more than five cigarettes at a time! :P Really though, great work, genius.
