So happy to see this on NG! :D Awesome animation to an awesome verse for an awesome game. Dan should really sign up here too. Nothing like new old mediums to promote your work, and imagine tracks like these in the AP. Nice work.

Woah, an end to the first season of Yonder Ho! Longest-running season on NG, maybe? I thought the year 2088 was a mistake in the beginning, but I guess it really is huh! Not so many futuristic elements in this one as in the previous. Not so much random and crazy either, but still some entertaining dialog amidst the story. Also: looks like a different style of animation at the beginning? Non-paint?

The jump from the window looked like he was getting sucked out, and you've got a white border to the left early on in the Moon Base episode (classy finale there too XD), otherwise it's looking good. Happy to see another one of these episodes is out, and for Halloween no less! :D Wonder how the second season will turn out, seems like there might be some squirrely changes.

Thank you very much, Cyberdevil! I always love reading your reviews. You're a very thoughtful and attentive person <3

Yep, the current year in Yonder Ho is 2088. Most of them aren't animated, but all my stories take place in the same universe. Yonder Ho is a very loose continuation of stories I made that took place during the 1860s, and my series of (really terrible) Game Maker games, which took place in the future.

As for the animation, all of the character art is still done with Paint, but most of the backgrounds were drawn in Photoshop. I did use a old film filter for the pre-intro part. Actually, the little year counter at the beginning was a simple program I made. I just used a screen recorder to capture it.

Yeah, there's a few animation errors here and there XD Happy you liked the Moon Base showdown though!

Anyways, thanks again for all your support. I'm happy you liked the episode overall!

Well that was crazy, Like a mash-up of miniature sketches, though there's a definitely a red thread through the stories. Even managed to fit in a quick verse at the most inopportune moment. XD Feels like the interactive elements would've been best met with a Flash version though, and quality a bit sharper too without the compression... but maybe this is the MP4 version of the original, no other changes? Could upload both versions though, and let users toggle which they want to play (and default to the video version if it's the preferred one). Either way, was a fun watch, good nostalgia too. All too few sprite movies nowadays.

And then all the first year's turn into second years and turn into the second years that turned up when they turned up, since that's how they were met when they were first years, and the cycle repeats itself for all universital eternity! Good stuff.

Transformers of the future, appealing minorities and all potential genders! XD Doesn't seem so bad after all.

Lectures, as such as they really are! :) Once again a truly informative and entertaining piece. Nicely presented.

Was wondering if a third movie would turn up after that other one. Nice bits of interactivity mixed in with the animation though, and easter egg, and getting in some official bits of audio to suit the action. XD Not all that up-close and personal, but nicely done!

You really present your family in the brightest light! Starts off an entertainingly educational animation, and ends a really personal one. Nicely presented, and animated, and for the diabetes thing: how early on did you get it? Hope I didn't miss it - I don't think I heard a year in the video. I guess you need to alter your diet a lot too - avoid all sugary foods? I like how it's all in a positive tone btw, despite the negative context. Keep fighting the good fight!!

I got 'type 1 diabetes' when i was '4 years old'

'The stay away from sugary foods' thing is actually a pretty common misconception, and im glad to clear it up for you...
Sugary foods just need larger doses of insulin earlier. Sugar is fast acting and spikes blood sugars quickly. For example: A Juice box (super sugary) would react alot faster than lets say a tuna sandwich ( less sugary )

If you have any more questions, send em my way!
thanks for the feedback btw appreciate it :)

Love is a but a brief and fleeting moment. XD Fun stuff, though the recording quality's a bit sharp on the voices. Not sure if that's the intended effect, or you could maybe use a better microphone there? Crisp, clear and unclipping sounds would bring it a level further! Nice work though.

GrahamDrawsButts responds:

I have gotten a better mic since this video was made, my next upload should be alittle crisper :)
Still not recorded at a professional level yet tho :(
