For some reason I imagined those creepy crawly insects would've been in this one hmm... guess that part was earlier though! Definitely recognize some of those other bits and pieces here, and though it seems Trish is thrown around considerably less here than in the endless loop previously featured, it all comes across as a worthwhile endeavor after all!

A welcome break in the series, as always. Breaking news, as Chutney somehow always seems to concoct. Bone-breaking bohemians. Creative and colorful and as always with those awesomely unexpected moments that just turn it all into such a thoroughly enjoyable venture!

That Jazzy Retro Beat link seems broken btw, if that's not NG messing things up here... looking forward to the next bit! And love the new credits! I need to read more...

ChutneyGlaze responds:

Aw man the link doesn't work? Okay ill fix it. I'm so glad you liked it cybie I knew you would say something cool about it!

The animation seemed somewhat simplified at first, not the usual true-to-traditions somewhat static-riddled black and white style either but with almost a bit of a Classic Gameboy hue... maybe there was a time when this was the true color though, but the scenes building up to the missing sequences: impressive detail! And with a description crafted with a passion, maybe more so than usual... backstory mastery. Good to see Skitzo again too!

Happy Halloween!

Comick responds:

Thanks man! Skitzo cartoons date to the early 1910's when film was made of nitrate. It was an extremely flammable substance and when it deteriorated would turn the film an amber color. Skitzo cartoons have never been found in good condition or preservation because they were all meant to be destroyed from history. Hence the scraps we find always have the amber tint and open decay :) Also thanks a ton for reading the description! I never know if anyone reads those haha but they are meant to give more story into the history of the lost piece.

Them classics! :D Still awesome. And up at an even 1,000 favorites right now... cool to see how far this one's come over the years.

Should've waited another month before I watched this, but this was great. Those flashy special effects from the old days of Flash too... gotta love 'em. Fun stuff.

It's possible political satire may go over my head... didn't really catch the joke here. Assuming it was a ridiculous statement supposedly said in natural tone (almost got the voice too, just missing the oldness) as to make it entertaining but hmm... didn't really catch what part of the statement was meant to be ridiculous. Maybe ridiculousness level could've been upped a bit...?

The real pod was awesome though! Bernie did say some things.

No imagery on part three, though...? I liked the animation style here, those wavy motions in particular, wondered if that might've been this rotoscoping technique you were speaking of, but ah, tracing. XD That worked! Natural motions. Smoothly drawn. Gets you curious over what the original footage looked like...

Twas a good idea too, though the end... feels like there could've been more of a punchline! Or a deeper message. Ends kinda fast.

Saying it like it is! I haven't heard to much of this Halloween hate over here, but if that's what people are saying... yeah. It's the season of scares. We better keep it that way.

Didn't realize how much I'd been missing this kind of comedy! :D So provocative but also so profoundly true. Good stuff.

Double scare. :) Nice. Was expecting her to just smile and walk into the house at the end there though... wondering if that would've been an even better end or no hmm... the pacing's a bit odd, or rather how the characters just don't do anything at all in the pauses, but idea and execution otherwise is great. Happy Halloween!

The showdown you never get to see... it'd really be the smart marketing move for them to actually make a real game off of this franchise too! It's one of those movies that's almost like a game already. Nice work with this - even if it's a bit choppy it emulates the style of old games in a good way that way. And not bad for a first!
