Heard this via the Retro Collab, and what a perfect part it played there too. :) Apparently made for a game as well hmm, further research seems to be required... great work.

Seems all the more impressive that it's all from scratch too. In this sample-heavy age of the now.

Thank you for the comment. It wasn't made for a game, but was used by a game-maker here on NG as background music to their game of the same name, Boxclever.

Always been a "from scratch" kinda guy;) I never liked using samples of any sort. Sure, I've used the odd thing here and there over the years, but primarily my ethos is DYI.

I thought MGK and Yungblud were the ones re-igniting the Punk scene this year! :D Little did I know we had this going on on home turf! I could get into this, really got that classic punk rock sound... and catchy, relatable, edgy and socially cynical and/or just-about-anything-cause-that's-pretty-punk-too lyricism? :P Hell yeah.

[Christmas special]

A different kind of Christmas. :D Love the vibe. Hypnotic beat. Good build and fade. Heavy bass but not too heavy - the balance feels just perfect. Title works well with it! Can definitely groove to this.

If y'all really got serious with this I can imagine it actually going places! XD Got potential! Fun to listen to, but just imagine this with perfect harmonies and all, damn... but wait I guess that maybe wouldn't be all as Simpable...

This turned out so good! :D Foreboding in an epic kind of way... a long build but never montone either, those orchestral elements are really all over the place, impressive attention to detail along the way. It's like you constantly expect something to jump up on you as you listen to this...

The way it speeds up and trickles away a bit at the end too... just perfect. Title too. ;)

Not a bad tune, though I wonder if the melody might sound even better with a higher pace... for some reason it starts to feel like it stumbles after a while. Like it wants to go faster but just can't get to it... it's like a strange middle ground between ambient and chill and fast-paced and trance-like. Maybe an uncommon BPM? IDK what it is but... that's the impression I get here.

Smooth little melody/beat though! Almost hip-hop like tone.

Feedback prior to this seems so thorough I don't know what I could possibly contribute here... I'm enjoying the beat; new take on the classic, but does feel a bit basic somehow. The synth/piano improv bits in particular are kind of slow and sparse, and the background heartbeat-like percussion that comes in during the bridge maybe a little predictable? Maybe all it needs is really a bit more punch somehow, or a more atmospheric background layer like the original.

I can't be specific. Do nae know the musicalical technological terminologies at all but: still a blast to listen to. Smooth nostalgia.
