The combination's good, but it's still kind of off sync! Most noticeable right after that first bit, and when it starts speeding up/slowing down before that final part. Not bad composition overall, but Sampulator could really use a clip/align feature to build with... overall sound: alright.

A classy piece! Uplifting, easy rock music. The bass and funk guitar gives it an almost RHCP-like vibe towards the end (which is awesome). Not sure about U2, though the streamy style in the beginning does seem intended for that, but... I like it!

Ooh, I hear the RHCP you mentioned. I've been listening to a lot of their stuff lately, mostly Californication era. Thanks for the review!

A really nice tune but... really not that much like what I'd consider jazz. The swing groove is definitely there, and the piano, but maybe in keeping such a fast and steady pace it doesn't have that improvisational style that jazz usually does. It feels like... well I don't know what it reminds me of, but like something in an old Knight movie, or background music in a pompous cruise ship diner, though with a bit of a comedy tone in the first half... when the brass chimes in towards the end it gets really nostalgic though. Just that little bit... I can't place it, but it's memory-heavy. Ties in to a lot of feeling. I wish more of the track was like that final bit.. maybe kept on going a bit longer, and growing. It feels like it really has potential to build! But anyhow: nice work. This really turned into something special.

Thank you for the review! I'm glad the track was able to evoke such imagery for you.

Now this was something else! XD Not the one you asked to review but... really like this one. Great narrative. Bit high on the loudness, slithering s/c's (as noted in previous), and it starts with more empathy/a bit more sinister tone than it ends with... also pacing speeds up a bit much on some spots, but overall it sounds great! Thoughts on jumping into some VA work...? Seems you might be able to do a little bit of everything there, both song and acting.

Thank you :)

You definitely have potential! :D Feels like you're holding back a bit here, or trying to keep the volume consistent for the sake of the recording... I imagine recording from a bit further away you might be really bring it all out? Or warming up a bit more to really use your diaphragm. The melody's great, clarity's great, articulation and empathy and everything, just seems a bit restrained. Also think vibrato works best with moderation, more when the emotion or intensity really calls for it. Another trick singers learn is not to pronounce the s's so much, especially the trailing ones, as they are more audible in recordings. Similar with any hard consonants, like t's. Probably some good tutorials on that floating around if you're interested. As is though: impressive voice. Feels pretty natural. Curious if you maybe have been doing any of this professionally? Lessons, etc? Hope to hear more.

Also would be nice with lyrics, didn't fully catch that part with the cest la vie rose... la vie ha rose...?

Quisty responds:

La Vie An Rose. Is french. I had no idea about the S thing. I will work on that in the future

Getting better and better, though still not on beat all the time! Seems a grid might be the one thing Sampulator's missing.

A pretty smooth beat, though the pace seems to go out of sync towards the end. Also a really cool service! I just wonder about the terms of use, if it's really all free... can't find a policy anywhere on that page.

A really Madness-sounding track! Starts of brooding but soon jumps right into the action, and I love that gritty, saw-like base, combined with the icy synth. Mysterious. Eerie. Intense. Awesome. Almost has a tribal party-like beat to it too.

That's a whole lot of silence after the first shot! :O Bit misleading. The submission led me here thinking the while pack was free too, but seems not... all this for just the one sound effect. I appreciate you want to make money, but this really feels like deceptive marketing, with everything from how you're link here, how the price isn't shown in the description here, how the track length makes it seem like more than it is, to just the one sample as a freebie for a whole pack. That's one percent. Sounds sound alright, but this was a real paywall.

A pretty grim and psychedelic-sounding intro! Though it just keeps going it never dulls down. Same melody, but it's like there's something new for each round it comes around... really cool.. It's like the Cypress Hill version of something that could've been in a Castlevania game.
