One of my favorite characters riding the waves here! Appreciate the creative style of water too, looks both tribal and realistic, both fresh and artistic, strange but good. Smooth work, and the face/hair: just perfect. Great detail.

Thank you,Cyberdevil I'm glad you like it
So smooth and beautiful! Fantastic work.

Thanks Cybedevil for your comment
Sandy and beautiful! Love the cute details too. Fun to look at, and the summer backdrop behind her... looks like paradise.

Thank you, Cyberdevil glad you like it.
I just love the simplicity with this one! So smooth... and so random.
It's possible it's not random if you know the game, but totally out of context like this that impression just makes it all the more entertaining. Nice work WS!

Thanks. I was a bit keen while drawing this because I had to take some basics and decency and mix it up and not ruin it. So far this has to be a favorite of mine.
Going going going... and never ever getting anywhere! It's a smooth loop, but his running motion feels somewhat flat, maybe because with the silhouette you don't really see him changing leg/side, it's like half the motion it could've been in color. Good stuff though. Background too.
-cd-
Thanks! Yeah I can understand the motion not being completely clear. That's why I put the buckle on his left shoe to differentiate his feet, but I think it's always going to be a little unclear working with silhouettes.
Choppy but catchy! Pretty nice.

It goes better with the music. :,}
Could make for a pretty bad-ass cover. Is it...?
-cd-
Absolutely. I wanted it to look like a synthwave album cover :D
The subject is Pedro, and all are subjected because: art is subjective! :D You won't regret this!
I wonder if the banana ghost is the unwanted element here, a symbol of the art itself (as in the one that no one wanted), or if maybe it all ties to the game I've yet to play... or to the the request? To the words below it (curious as to what that reads - seems possibly relevant)?
The stick figure's definitely a bit basic, but the gradients give it a facelift, and I like the red rays in the background placement, fading away to the damp ground; basement. Colors are varied, both bright and dark, and the motive uplifting in a random and expressive kind of way.
The face is a bit off center, which bugs me a bit, but with the arm, and ghost/spirit/banana, the equal sides aren't all as important. The rays twist the angle a bit too. On a vertical plane it does seem right in the middle... I think the placement of each shape wouldn't be as noticeable if the shapes were less like shapes, unlike frames in which items are meant to be aligned, and more so the chaotic nature of reality. A little brushing around; experimentation might lead someplace. ;)
But this was fun to view! And you're officially in the contest hmm! Good luck! The uniqueness of this piece may be a strong advantage.

I can't wait for my prize!
Moving up in the world of sfx! :) Looks interesting.

I know!
Hard to get close with those. :) Fun little storyboard, though I wonder if there's more to a story with this than meets the eye... seems like there's some kind of intention there hmm, not just randomly listening in.

It's based on some late-night shitposting between me and Plat from long ago. I'm just polishing up the complete version with dialogue and a silly little bonus panel, should be done in about a week now. c:
