This is amazing. :) Was expecting maybe a sub-par attempt at working the photo, or a Big Mom piece mixing in the Big Mom references, but actually merging them together... this is what farts are really all about! :D Turning those used references into something new entirely, best of both worlds, and I must say Big Mom looks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better like this than in any art I've seen of her so far, which with the young version of her are really few and far between...

The way you managed this is impressie too. I guess you used some filters on the photo to make it seem drawn, but with the added outlines and saturated background it's hard to see where the photo ends and the drawing starts, it all blends together so well, the head/face has just the right angle, it seems you've drawn over the bikini/boots partially... maybe her arm/hand stands out a bit compared to the art still, a bit more photo-like, and more of a contrast since it's close to the face, but for the most part this is awesome.

Way beyond my expectations with this one! Thank you!

I still haven't watched the Dressrosa Arc, stopped watching at Punk Hazard! Seen few spoily scenes though!

Well your feedback is sure way beyond any of my expectations! Yay! So now I am favored by the Devil Himself! :P

Solid work for a first. :) The form's clean, the scene serene, the lily pad such a suitable background (it is a lily pad right?), though wonder how it'd all be with color, also maybe with a traditional pixel palette...

I guess you're not doing Inktober this year after all hmm? Was thinking there might be a lot to catch up on here but this might be doable. ;)

lmao. XD Coincidentally, my name is also Bob, and I too do have aggravatingly slow metabolism. They say my lyrics are out of this world sometimes...

Love that expression. Overall very nice glimpse of alien life with stylish background with stylized typography baked in to back it all up too and enhance impressions!

And I just realized maybe he's not an alien... seems like he could be though, form suitable...

tfw you see a random drawing and almost feel called out. I've been there, man. At least there's no risk of getting any pesky alien bugs entering my mouth while sleeping... r-right? c:

Feels like the details mostly focused on the face/hair with this one, but solid work as always! Love that purple energy too.

Thank you Ciberdevil I'm glad you like it.

Hadn't seen her before, but what a viewtiful purple-haired beauty! Interesting texture work with the sky too, strange sense of realism and otherworldiness combined... enjoying both forms and details with this one, real nice... sand dunes too. Something special about sand.

Thank you Cyverdevil, I'm glad you like it.

Really like this one! The fluent forms, the color, the texture fits right in too. I... can't really read the intention though. The subject matter... life, death, joy, sadness? He's holding something but I'm not sure what it is. A raised fist in the background. An upside-down cross. Smells like revolution, or a crusade, or something sinful, but the title confuses me a bit... not sure what it's all about after all.

Then again that just makes it all the more intriguing...

I will let people decide what this is about. If recognize the symbolism and how similar their behavior it will link together.

Hmm, your signature pointing downward towards the roof of the one house, it seems like? Or is that arrow more so a symbol within the signature? Interesting work using textures along with the painting, and abstract forms... feels like a both chaotic and soothing landscape, though a form to the right that's... like a thumb? The cannon on a tank? Makes you wonder a bit.

The balloons really stand out too. Like it was meant to be a party, but people just didn't feel like it after all... or like they were about to start but had to evacuate? An ode to the world situation right now? Intriguing scene.

As always so atmospheric work on the lighting too.

DevilRat responds:

A lot of my earlier digital paintings are built upon Asian architecture, specificly. Japanese architecture. The balloons were sort of a refrence to.... Up, but can also mean but also add to this clown world.

Before I read the description I was thinking maybe it was a play on kale, the overground edible. :) Expression somehow comes across really emphatic and kind though, and the quick bio even more so, glad she's not... nice one.

Also subtle environmental moral: quit dumping shit in 'em oceans!!!

Magical. :) The amount of detail you put into these... love the way you integrate the lightning, and the slightly abstract forms just make it seem all the more like a fairy tail.

Also: imagine some levels like this for a Worms World Party battlefield! :D The style's somewhat similar, but so much more elaborate scenery than the ones they have built-in...

DevilRat responds:

The early process gave me so much of a nostiligia feel of the C64. I somewhat been trying to improve it. Allowing colors to bleed, a tad harsher than a digital painter named Marco Bucci. It's mostly a one layer affair or a constant merging of overlay layers which create the visuals. October has been having my most impressive and best works. Less is more for me. This only apart of the unlabeled paintings of mine due to... Well I don't give my work meaning and just find it admitly dumb to label paintings that showcase.

I heard of Worms. Due to it being an Amiga game. I find limiting my palette to three colors really works out in my favor. 2 Can work, Three HEAVILY, one also greatly. Four colors primarly, FUCK THIS SHIT I AM OUT! I just find I stay fairly muted in four, but 2 I can get away with that.

Enjoying the creative, both futuristical and somewhat oldskool design with these! That's a spacey-looking motorcycle too and hmm, no lower clothing visible...
