What, Duck Division, potential connection, stagbeetle related ref?!

Anyhow this looks great. And I don't think I'd realize it was as big as it seems to be if I didn't notice the background's all made up of ice cream sticks (whatever those are professionally named). Makes me wonder about the sizes on some of the others... might be interesting to have a note on that along with some of the ones where it's not as clear.

Nice work!

Yarn responds:

Putting sizes in the description is a good idea! I might start doing that since I'm occasionally asked how big they are

Thank you for your input

lmao. XD You sure have been dating a large variation of generations hmm... always thought I was part of the X gen btw, was going to say I'm not sure the depiction there's totally accurate but wait... I'm a millennial?! Oh man that is actually crazy spot on. O_O

This comic done went all epiphany-inducing on me now... good one though.

And I do agree, boomers are amazing. Role models like no other. Maybe we'll all become that generation eventually though; maybe it's not so much a generation but more so: the blissful age where you've found your place and focus on what's truly important!

Soupcat responds:

I'm personally not a big believer of the whole generational naming system. It's very much like you said, what age you are at what time. The naming conventions are just marketing terms. But seeing that my comics need to be marketed to the Internet I decided to go that route! It hit like a bomb on reddit and a lot of people could find themselves in it. So mission accomplished! I'm glad you found yourself in it as well.

And in all honesty, the two lower panels are based on family members because I did not date a Gen X or a grannie 🤭 There goes the illusion!

Forms just so perfect here, and no shortage of alternations either. :) Looking good.

thank you very much :D

Would've thought he was a vampire punk if there wasn't a name to lead to a whole new area I was unawares of here... looks great. Purple grit adds a lot, though the spikes around his mouth almost seem like a sign of something... bad breath? A little off placement/symbolism there maybe (could've been taken for a battle cry or similar if only his mouth was open) but all in all this is awesome. Love the style.

Haris responds:

Hey, Cyberdevil. Thanks for sharing your insight =D
The breath is of sorts like the Skyrim shout effect graphic, or whatever kind of sense reaction maybe. Bloody breath, shocking statement, energy visualized, or whatever else. I like to leave details about the meaning vague, so that people can make their own meanings about what I draw. Not always though. If you played VtMB, then I'm sure you understand all the symbolism of that stop sign, and this is just fanart with a personal twist really.

I recently watched some interview about the musician for the game Rik Schaffer( really cool, check it out on yt /watch?v=cei2k6l-IQY ) that made me remember some good feels from that game, and got inspired to draw something similar to the world of the game.

Monika looking flashy as always. :) Love that slight fish-eye lens thing too with how the background curves around her.

Combat system hmm, seems interesting!

Enjoying the grungy style of this, and refreshing color, background blue a bit like the Nevevermind album, purple and red refreshingly different... really got the latex texture and hair looking right in this one too.

Thank You!
This was a fun diversion from my usual goth stuff

Looking smooth! the way the light shines through for a bit behind her too... very nice.

Hype with this one! Fiery. Nice.

Thanks!!

Love the grit with this, just maybe a little much blur/haze. Comes across somewhat looking like a model car that way. A bit like how if you blur out the background in a top-down photo you can almost make it look like a toy set.. feels a little like that. But smooth.

RobsH66 responds:

Thanks for the comments! Good note on the background blur, it does kinda create a "miniature" effect... I'll keep an eye on that next time around :)

The texture/grit with this almost makes it seem like an actual photo, dirtied by the hands of time; saved in a scrapbook somewhere... though our 'Fallen Angel' seems to somewhat defy that filter. :) More like she's walking through a hazy memory. Another nice promo!
