A mixture of so many mythical beasts! :D Angelic, demonic, bird-like, turtle-like, with attire that seems partially fetched from some ancient civilization and partially from the future. Interesting character!

Thanks; I'm glad you think so!
I really like the shifts of color in this, and the splatter-like shattered image of the main character... wonder how this is made? Looks almost like real paint for the character? Is it digital? Is that a special brush maybe? Either way, it's a really cool effect, and a bright background texture that fits well.

Glad you like it! I have your answer in two versions: a short one, and a long one.
The short one is: I applied multiple random effects on the original work (check out "Steel Tower") with an app called "PicsArt" on my mobile.
The long version is:
As I was drawing the shield that was supposed to be a fist only first but somehow that kept ending up looking really, really retarded so I decided to draw a shield to cover up my failure etc. ahem anyway I was drawing but because I kept failing big time I decided to take a break (a break that is still valid btw. And I made this about... 2 months ago? =_=). During that break, I was semi-upset with my sketch because it wasn't finished so I impulsively tried to fancy it up a little bit with an app on my mobile I've downloaded a very long time ago but rarely/never used, PicsArt. I uploaded my drawing, went to effect, "shit happened", which includes throwing in sun flares like it's a MLG montage (notice the glowing eyes), and BAM, this was the result.
So yeah, there you have it xD -elf-
The red and blue lighting on his hair makes me imagine he's standing at a crime scene, police sirens playing in the background. Love the line-work, and the surrounding energy in particular, combined with expression it's just... he's just come to a realization of some sort. But maybe it is just that: energy! Power! Either way, it's a real effectual portrait. Nice work!

THanks :D
Heeey it's like that scene from the Legend of Korra! :D Similarities entirely coincidental? Looks great though, detailed and intense, though I do wonder if that cameraman is really adding the picture or not. ;) He's like a memento of modern times we could do without... or maybe he does add to the realism.... the sense of being there. Nice work!

Wait, Korra gets giant monsters in it at some point? I only saw the first season of that show!
Haha I just googled "Korra giant monsters", thats very coincidental! I just painted a bunch of stuff I liked in front of a city landmark I like haha.
I was expecting a tiny horse sprite or something when I saw the thumbnail... but this is really something else! It's like a... rate morphed into a horse? Slick, creative; intriguingly strange!

thank you.
Art style reminds me a bit of Cave Story for this one image. I like the lack of outlines, the contrasting colors (blue and red don't always mix, but these nuances seem to work well), the overall fluency of the picture. Looks great!

Thanks for your input
They definitely don't seem too scary here! :D A friendly gathering of fuzzy critters for this familiar occasion! The one hook poking up at the bottom of the image feels like the only perceptible menace. Nice play with expressions and sensuality, the bear glare adds a sense of comedy too.
As for ratings, with no direct nudity (just revealing clothing) a T rating is usually enough. M should be a safe bet for partial nudity or artistic nudity (full portraits, etc), For A, pretty much anything goes!
-cd-
ah ok, how do you change the rating to teen? I'm still trying to figure out how to use the website.
Oh man I remember this book... such a sad ending! :( Don't remember the cover at all, but this is beautiful. I like hw the face seems to really glow, to pulsate with light, all warm colors and lack of outlines gives a goddesslike impression indeed! Nice work!

Thank you soo much! That was the intention! She is my idol, she is literally my world! :D
Had I not read the description, I'd have thought that this was one brutal block! Like, the ones in the Mario games that drop down from the ceiling and try to crush you. Gritty; savagely sketched design!

Ha, very well, if you don't like it being a book, it can certainly be The Deadly Brickster! :D
