The species doesn't have any kind of gender, as they exist in the dimensions between time and space.
And thanks, The environment behind the character is actually extremely important to the event that is depicted in this piece. What event that is, I won't be spoiling. If you want to know, you'll just have to follow along and read the comic. ;3

I love those videos of VR roller coasters when friends push the person in real life and they freak out, hahaha. Those videos inspired this illustration, hehehe.
Gazelle looking pretty good! Smooth moves, good sensation with the breeze, the road carving off into the distance... feels like the beach could've looked a bit more beachy, but overall you capture that ride pretty well.
