Let's see, out of these 50 films I have seen... Pulp Fiction, Aguire, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, 2001, Back To The Future, Withnail & I, Alien, Apocalypse Now, Casablanca, The Wizard Of Oz, Chinatown, Citizen Kane, Up, This Is Spinal Tap, Fight Club, Cabaret, Dawn Of The Dead, Brazil, Pan's Labyrinth, Shawshank Redemption, Scarface, King Of COmedy, Trainspotting, The Usual Suspects, Donnie Darko (almost didn't see that one - I mean the text is tiny for some of these), Silence of The Lambs, Princess Mononoke, Life Of Brian, The Terminator aaand that's it. The ones I remember at least. I went on a marathon of old classics a few years back so I might have seen more but that I don't recall the titles of.

If I'd list 50 movies that must be seen I imagine the list would be a bit different though, a lot of martial arts classics, a lot of action, more movies that mess with your mind (well, Fight Club's a good one in that category). Current favorite is without doubt Inception, and among other recommendations I think I'dinclude Looper, Bad Boys 2, Addams Family and Chennai Express. In the list about Scarface is probably the one movie that impacted me the most; Al Paccino's most impeccable performance. Aaanyway, this was a nice poster! Though it would've been cool with some imagery, a collage of posters or something, since titles aren't always at the top of your mind. Nice work.

Decky responds:

I know what you mean about the collage idea and some of my earlier sketches were leaning towards something in that vein but I really wanted to do something as a homage to Saul Bass. As for some of the text being small when printed out at it's A3 it's all clear, maybe it's the PNG file. Also I wasn't going for the titles to be read by that I mean that they are the lowest in the hierarchy of information.

Keep watching those films man and cheers for the review.

A pretty sparkly design, looks good! Is this a concept car for any one game in particular btw, as in: is it a graphical style resembling a certain one of the games? I spent some intense moments with the GC version, real catchy game.

IceBurger responds:

I tried to model the car based off of GX/AX versions and give it more advanced lighting as if it were for a game on a newer console.
:D

Sorry for your loss! The dog (no name?) looks so kind and humble in this picture, to the point where it... almost looks depressed somehow. Very realistic brushwork on hair and color. Nice work!

BigMcDope responds:

The dogs name is/was Hannibal.
Interesting name for a dog I guess, but the was very nice and playful.

Thanks for the comment!

And thus the question is: why is he? Apart from that somewhat bland and very square solid black background cross, the character art looks great! Pretty creative design too if it is a unique character..

mogy64 responds:

He´s back as a DLC on Smash Bros. :P
Yeah, backgrounds aren´t my forte overall, thus the very bland look of it, I´ll definitely keep trying to make them better.
Thanks for the critique, it´s very appreciated and helpful! : )

Looks like a clash of mighty powers! It's pretty cool how you captured the energy between them, the motion, the intensity of the battle... looks good!

Bu3999 responds:

Thank you so much! I had never drawn or painted anything realistic before so this picture means a lot to me. It is a big step in my art... journey!

A pretty trippy piece of artwork! Colorful and imaginative. Nice work.

Thanks! I plan on uploading more of my art either later this week, or perhaps next week. However, if it turns out people like my works of art, I might upload my entire gallery from dA, as well as any futures things I make. I have a lot more than this, but I decided to put my personal favorites forward for the scouting.

Looks like something inspired by The Monster? Well, at least the character feels similar, and that shadow shape.. nice work!

-cd-

HMarioProductionsH responds:

Very true , it is actually an illustration relates to the monster, thanks for your comment.

The eyes really stand out in this picture, and your other work! The large oval shape, glossy surface and dark outline seems to be like a trademark of your work, but I do think a bit smaller/more realistic/less out-standing (as in: they stand out) eyes would really fit better with the overall warm colors in the picture. Overall, it looks good!

ROGUEKELSEY responds:

I think you have a good point! Most people say the eyes are usually too big in most of my pieces, and I think I need to be more open to changing them. So I really will try to make them smaller in the future. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

lmao, the irony! Can't wait to see what happens neckst.
