There's a lot of detail in this. I like that statue in the background! And the rest of it... the way the pathway fades away into a blue bliss is pretty nice, outlined by vivid color and tombs of stone. Wonder if there's some meaning in this, the dying (or at least severly injured) cat.... eating a rose... in a skull.. accepting his fate? A symbol of his dying? It's interesting, a bit sad; beautiful.

RimKeLLo responds:

To be honest. i don't think about some meaning of picture when i'm drawing. I just take all feelings/ideas from my head and try to translate them in picture.

It's hard for my to even think by word so it's hard to explain. (Yes the most time i have the endless flow of images in my mind.)

But look at this:
1. - half-death cat - is my representation of DEATH himself. (cuz in many cultures cats have one or another sort of connection with death)
2. - Skull is stong symbol by itself
3. - Rose (i hope it looks like rose) in here represent for me the last sign of life or even "memory"
I don't know by what words i can describe all that mess in my mind ))

But if you think that my picture is interesting. If you feel something. Especially if this pic has prompted you on some reflections. Then it's wonderful and I'm very grateful for such a response.

Thank you! =^.^=

Haha, what a creatively crazy design! The sharp color looks pretty edgy, the ears are striped off their squares, the eyes are like green eggs, and the horns immaterial. Nice work!

Nah, she's got nothing to fear, that Kraken's giving her a warm and loving embrace! Nice details on the slither and glow, it really captures the feeling. Keep it going!

PatBest22 responds:

She actually is the Kraken, you're the one who's got to fear :P

Loro and the... Outskirts? Confusing title for a team. :P It looks good though, happy characters, full of energy, each wielding a force of their own... and the glow effect is pretty neat. Is this concept art for something... a game? A movie? Keep it going!

Deecio responds:

Thanks! This is actually some promo art for an upcoming series, and some practice with pixel upsizing in Photoshop. Loro is the main character (in the center here), and "The Outskirts" will play a major role in the series as the name of the REGION these three will be in, although I understand your confusion there. Also the series for now will be done in quasi-animation, almost like a storyboard, but with high detail put into the boards, maybe it's a motion comic? I'm not really sure what warrants that title.

What a cute and positive drawing. It looks a bit like her one arm just disappears or broke off or something, but apart from that it's all good. Simple and stylish. Keep it going!

MELONCONCARNE responds:

Ah yah. Thanks man!

A powerful painting! The scar on his chest looks more like paint (or wait, maybe it is war paint?), but apart from that he's like a symbol of strength. A grim gaze, gray dusty air; a generally menacing atmosphere. Nice work!

kian-newgrounds responds:

Hay thanks a lot, actually I forgot the scar when i was "inking" the lines and I had to do it at the end and it actually looks like paint hehe

A painting that really focuses on the dark side of Dead Space. Brutal and bloody, but still with a glow, something to hope for. It's metaphorical in a way. I like the fluid motion with which the blood is drawn, also very detailed. Keep up the good work!
