Pretty shady looking character! Smooth work. The black and white style contrasts nicely with the red, too. Nice work with the glow and grin in particular. The overlapping marker fill shows a bit much for the lighter part of the hat, but otherwise all good!

Thank you!
I agree that the strokes are a bit scruffy, that will be digitally cleaned up in post-production before the cards are actually made to sell. It was my first time doing a heavily Inked drawing with a not-so-great brush pen I had, I have since then Fallen in love with the technique and I purchased a wonderful brush pen.

Seems they may not be that far away after all. :) Aaand all caught up. Feels like the pace does move a bit slowly, page by page, like it's one main move/discovery/action with each, but definitely fun to read.

Thank you! And thank you for all of the nice comments.

The format feels almost like a polaroid photo. :) I like the hazy lighting and realistic atmosphere, simplistic as it is. The blotches of red light add a lot, too. Considering it's a cityscape there's surprisingly little light in the background but... it looks refreshingly different that way too. Nice work.

Thanks Cyber! Always look forward to your reviews :)

Interesting frame! And tired-looking doodle motive. Smooth work though.

Indeed.

Beautiful work! Really captures that sense of loss, a hollow gaze coupled with the crowd of flowers... at least nature's always close. Nice piece.

They say the best way to capture an emotion in your work is to work when you're at the pinnacle of that particular emotion. I suppose it must be true, then. I am happy that you enjoyed it, thank you.

He seem to be catching up with each rock (odd that it's not a leaf) just before it starts to pull away again... and strange how the more you watch the faster it seems to go! Almost hypnotic effect. I like the downwards curving motion, the white rain in the background, and just that overall style of yours with the detail, waving, symmetrical shapes and splashy effects. Real cool.

Thanks CD! you are a poet and you dont know it!

Balloons are good! :) Even in winter hmm... definitely a new one. Digging the style, and the dynamic expressions. Switched up colors too. It doesn't explicitly say anything but seems to tell a story all the same. Nice work.

Thank you! :D

Expression in image a reference to said digital distaste? it turned out good though! Smooth lines, nice clash between background confetti and expressional apathy... futuristic border and date makes me wonder what it's for, though. Character presentation? Feels almost like a collectors card that that, albeit missing some key info otherwise.

I find drawing digitally to be a pain. I also have no imagination when it comes to poses.
