Is this really what he looked like? XD Seems like a fresh interpretation on a familiar character... but I can dig it. Nice design. For a moment there was also really reminded of that band with the same name. Good stuff.

Thanks man :)
Ebony 's an interesting name for a character who's as fair-skinned as this one. :) Nice design though. I like the detail with the star spangled cloth; natural-looking poses, how the fabric falls... face seems maybe a bit wide with the eyes, but overall looking good!
-cd-
yeah I think the eyes are a little wide, I'm never sure if I did it right or not.
We writhe inside as we are torn apart to make way for what we will become. Surrender to it. Let the bliss of oblivion free you of all your doubts and fears... quote from a game, that this picture really reminds me of! The quote - not the game. Really like the detail here, though definitely conveys a darkness. Hunger, desperation, anxiety, not sure what... but it's got a lot of it. A somber poem to go with it too.

i did it when fighting with a very close friend. we smoothe shit out no need to sweat it. sometimes i hope he still considers me as close as i still do. he's a good guy.
Exposive art. :) Really really smooth work on that explosion, for real. I was keeping this on loop earlier too, moves so fast you just have to watch it a few times at least to try and catch those details... having a blast there.

Woah. not often do people stop and appreciate small details like that. Most people take everything as one big chunk! Good eye CD!
They don't seem so little but they do look good! Sci-fe like too, like a trio of Marvel vaudevillians/heroes/both... any story behind these? Curious about the powers of the one in center too, top tattered as it is, may be something interesting hmm. Nice piece.

It is nice to know this piece interested you. If you would like to know little more about the "Three Little Mothers," I will be focusing on them in a new blog in the coming weeks and their individual back stories are eluded to here: https://www.deviantart.com/adventvoice
They are OC's and a wonderful crown jewels of my written discussion about Fate, gods, man, and how Clive Dawson, the Dream Weaver fits somewhere in the middle of all the Vaudevillians/heroes/Pulpish-Escapades
Oh hell yeah, it's on NG too! :D I shall eternalize this within my favorites...
Truly a fine composition this turned into. The fragrant aroma of the tea comes across in a mild and pleasing demeanor, the squiggly title text morphs in a poppy fashion, the Viking helmet adds an entertaining set of additional horns and the demon himself's drawn in night both athletic and aesthetic perfection.
Even the visual puff lets you truly visualize this blissful moment of calm and contemplative indulgence, and it swims off into the distance like a fish in a bowl... followed by a suitably slow tween to fully complete the sense of peace and harmony this occasional entails.
Impressive finesse with which be balances that cup plate on the brim of his cool blue cybernetically armed RPG, too! All in all this is just impeccable work. Masterful. Impressive. Respect. Props. Cheers! Thanks too.

I dont know how he does it! Raw talent? Demonic posession? Either way never a dull moment with CD! XD
Looks like she's got a grudge against the world this girl. :) Not bad.

Now this really wasn't like you're usual work. XD Style's not at all as refined, text and all, effects all over, but it seems like... a fun game.

I do appreciate your criticism. I'll need to double check my art before uploading next time. :)
Man you do pretty elaborate stuff for your practice! :D This is impressive. So creative too. Would love to see something like this in one of those futuristic movies... or why not as an actual trend. Would be cool. Poor fish though, in such a world.

i wonder how they feed the fish
So are these trenches from modern day, preserved, or how they actually looked back then? Didn't realize they were this deep. Or well-structured. You're really digging into history lately huh! Nice work. Educating too.
-cd-
They were some modern photographs so they had been washed of their debris and grown over some. I changed the seasons, colors, and angles so I could play with the aesthetics. I had read about trenches the other day. Interesting stuff.
