Morbidly creative but... somehow not all that menacing. Almost like it's posing for the camera...
Nice design.

Now this was grizzly! :D Such an awesome setting, spooky, swampy... all the more menacing when you don't really know what lurks beneath that surface either, the unknown in stark contrast to the cold moonlight and fire.
And that towering figment in the haze, the tentacle plants... love the textures too.

Thanks a lot ! :) Was exactly going for this with the half submerged pumpkin !
She's got that fire! :D Nice one. Happy Halloween man.
-cd-
thank you, the same to you brother
Unexpected shift of possessions there... wonder how that'll play out in pt.3...

Something spectacularly spooky seems just about to start here! :D Looking forward.

That's a bad-ass pumpkin. Angle and all. Impressive how much you managed to cut out without it all collapsing too. Wonder what happened to those pumpkin carving contests now...
-cd-
Thanks man! I was borderline going to lose a piece haha so that was a close call. Also yeah!! I loved the pumpkin contest on NG but didn't see one this year...ah well I still submitted one XD
Peace in war... almost feels like a ghost of war, a trace of happiness simmering through the haze of slaughter... I've got a dark mind huh. XD The texture in this one feels a bit like smog/clouds too though, something poisonous...
Interesting effect again.

i love paradoxes
having a dark mind can help relating to people that think that way
and make it easier to bring them light
with every painting i think i am learning something new
not all poison is bad
thank you
Interesting brush strokes in this one too. and so fiery colors when they're both layered like this, and spiked stylistically. appreciate the added layers and nuances too. If anything feels a little off maybe it's the center of the sun, not really following form, or fading out like the other elements too. Cool work.
-cd-
yeah i started playing with rotating the canvas
before i just didn't know how to do it
just one brush but more ways to move it
thank you
Not bad at all. Thoughts on making a pack/collection of these? If you've made a bunch of them at this point? Would be cool to see 'em all collectively too.
-cd-
ill do a few more later and if i can rescue some from my old pc ill try doing a pack
