After watching the 'Frogs Around the Round Table' I was a bit surprised at the amount of detail in this, it looks great! The introductory title screen especially is really ablaze with color and light, really atmospheric, I like how it fades away and gets warmly fuzzy in the distance.

The sceneries were detailed as well, patches of grass and pumkins... and the scarecrow transformation real smooth. I'm thinking the moon could've had better lighting considering some other parts of the animation do use gradients (thinking of the sky there), and some form of luminescent glow would definitely make it more atmospheric. The crows are the best part in this, really add to the suspense, but when they fly up, the feathers fall to the ground unnaturally fast, maybe just let them hover even while the camera pans? For the ghost, bit strange the open mouth is the same color as the face. The main character also seems oddly flat when her face is revealed, and when she walks that left arm really stretches haha, overall it looks great but these small details could raise the tension another bar. Also, some form of darkness at the end would be pretty cool, a menacing shadow sweeping over the land more than just the morphing color? Keep up the great work!

I did take a lot of time to put in a lot of detail and color into this, I thought it would be a good thing to do since this was going to be so short, so I'm glad that shows.

Yeah, I was never really good with moon's though really recently I was watching how other flash animators did moons and I tried it and liked the outcome so I think I could make a decent moon though.

I did put a lot of time and effort into make the part with the crows seem suspenseful. The speed of the feathers has been noted, now that I think about it, yeah, that is pretty fast, feathers are kinda light, heh. If I ever animate feathers falling again, I'll be sure to get it right ;3.

I could have sworn I made the ghost's mouth inside a different color, guess not though. Not sure what happened there, I always use a different color for the inside of the mouth. I'm not sure what you mean by "oddly flat" unless like literally 2 dimensional, which if that's the case, it's probably due to the angle that she's facing the camera, I'm still haven't put a lot of time into proper perspective with my cartoons, but I do no how to so I should probably start doing that. And yeah, that fucking arm. Her arms were moving a different way before, I didn't like how it looked, changed it to swing subtly but they turned out looking like they stretched, hated myself, got lazy, and didn't fix it further. And as for the darkness in the end, the dark clouds did come in when the transformation was happening, but yeah, I didn't do a good job of showing that.

Thanks for the review!

Looking at those before and after scenes I'm thinking the text was actually clearer in the old one, not as stylish but definitely easier to read (new one seems a bit too aligned to the left btw), and I liked the lighter tone of color... actually, that applies for the lot of the scenes, I think the old subtle green was better than the improved (?) neon, and that more subtle coloring instead of the dark blue in the background for the room, and the lighter less obvious brown for floors. Color wise I'm thinking some things haven't really improved, but the shapes are definitely better, much smoother, and sceneries more detailed. I'm sure there's a lot of improvement in the motion too as the old characters look a bit square (that can't really be seen in the comparison)... but those colors man! Maybe change the palette a bit?

I like the lipsync in this; was surprised you even had some teeth included. That part felt surprisingly detailed compared to the sceneries... which I feel could be better. At many times there's just plain colors for backgrounds, when even simple shapes or lines would give the illusion of scenery. The floorboards look a bit square in the room, too, and lines overall are a bit squiggly. Looking at your newer animations there's a big difference!

As for sound, I feel the volume is a bit imbalanced. I had to turn it up and down depending on the scene. When the music's playing it's real loud and when some character speak you can barely hear what they're saying, a more consistent level for that would be great.

As for plot, that part was pretty entertaining. That final foot scene could've been a bit more intense, maybe shake the screen a bit when the foot comes crashing down? Include some sound? Something? Twas a fun watch though, keep it up!

I think my colors have improved slightly since this, though I prefer vibrant colors (like in this) as opposed to overly saturated colors (as in the original) but a lot of people seem to like the look of saturated colors more, so I've tried to find a nice balance recently. The scenery coloring I do agree with though. As for the characters looking square and the motion being bad in the original, the original was drawn in MS Paint with the line tool, so yeah, even for something in MS Paint (which I have made some pretty decently animated stuff in MS Paint) it looks pretty bad. Which is why I wanted to remake it ;3

Of my older stuff, I always hear that the lipsync is the best part, which is weird because I never learned how to properly lipsync until recently to find out I was doing it right the entire time. I've started to lean away from more detailed teeth though, because it didn't seem to fit too well with the rest of my "style". As for backgrounds, yeah I was always lazy with them and sometimes I still am, but I've tried to make more complex backgrounds now. I've gotten a lot better at landscape drawing, and drawing non-organics, so I can definitely make some nice backgrounds if I put the time into it.

Yeah, volume has been and still is (to a lesser degree) a problem for me, especially in this. I feel I've gotten a little better at sound design though. What's funny is for a while I put absolutely no sound or music in my stuff because I was afraid of it being imbalanced with the voices.

I'm not sure how I could have made the screen shake convincingly since it cuts to the credits immediately after, but now that I think about it, a squishing sound would have worked. I don't think I had a huge sound library when I made this though, or maybe at the time I thought sound effects weren't needed, I don't know ;3

Seems even the remake has some problems, looks like I need to remake it again! Ha.

Thanks for the review! ;3

Haha, they do love to complicate things. Name all the Pokemon next? It's not just the towns that are getting overly complex and confusing, not just the people, not just the Pokemon, it's the entire gaminge experience! They should just take a step back and make modern versions of the classics... again. HeartGold was the pinnacle IMO. Nice work!

Crazy. Sininister. Sick. Naively awesome, but in that final scene... how much does Mickey actually know? O.o It is fluently done, both animation and voice acting, and the mixture of gritty background textures and regular characters works well. Nice work!

Haha, another awesome miniature episodes. And this time it's like a collection of em in one package. Nice work!

Woooah that's a long list of credits at the end there! The animation was awesome though, detailed and atmospheric. A fun idea; plenty of eventfulness. WIth the jazzy soundtrack it's like a music video too, varied all the way. Nice work!

Surprisingly intriguing despite the potentional pointlessness. I don't know what I'm really getting out of watching this, but it was fun. Wouldn't have known it was Ghostbusters unless you said so btw, ages since I watched that movie. Nice work!

I need to animate more often but catching public on Ng being from a spanish talker coutry is a bit difficult to me by now, so I'm not very active.

I'm happy you enjoyed it. Thanks : )

Woo, I like vegetables too! This was a pretty great video, and with a moral to top it off. Nice work!

Awesome music and pretty viewtiful graphics to go with it this time! Scenes morph into one another in a tray of trippy chaos and bizarre bars. Nice work!

lmao, it's April 1 so... I don't know what I was expecting. :D I've ben decieved! That introductory screen looks so professionally promising too, maybe not of hentai but at least... something Sirkowski-related! Should've tried getting her as co-author btw, that'd have been neat. Nice one.

Pienkaito responds:

I'm still waiting for his response.

I'm actually terribly sorry for being very unoriginal this time. I couldn't live up with the quality of the previous April Fool's.
Maybe someday, I'll make something better.
