That frog. XD Love the way it just appeared there. A fun, warm story this turned out to be too... and I like the style. Even though it's all built with simple tweens and stretched out characters, almost like papermation, it all flows together really well. Warm colors and scenery too, and a little background ambience when it's called for. Nice work.

Untraditionally dark vibes here for a puppet show! And not the kind of puppetry I was expecting either, but I do like it. The jagged knife, the silhouettes overlapping... really classy play on shadows and some smooth slight of hand there. Mealy liked the running bit too, trees streaming by on loop... it's cool to see how the scenes are made up too, and simple tricks all looking so effectual. And narrative via text like the old days! Heavy text, too. Gotta love how it just keeps building, all accompanied by the music, and all with a message too. Being torn apart by the grievances of the gods... aren't we all just paper shells of someone else. Beasts in our minds.
Paper bit scrolling by though... didn't seem as 'realistic' as the rest of it. But, overall, work of art. Appreciate how unconventional it was too.

Golden Pussy really had me expecting something different here. XD I love it though. Love the details. Love the intro walk. Love the random yet senseful style of it all... though M rating? Not sure you need a rating that high. Looking forward to the second bit though!

That's hair? Always thought it was ears. XD Also this could've ended soo badly! Was just waiting for an accidental Happy Tree Friends-like stabbing thing but... it turned out OK after all! Gappy you keep it harmless. Good fun! Love these voices too.

Intro music here really had me thinking of Tintin for some reason. :) The sound quality's really on a whole other level! Animation style... experimentally messy. The motions are great, but these strange texture and solid color combinations again... they do look kinda weird. The longer it goes the more used to it I get I guess, as I start appreciating it more and more, or could it be... it's actually getting better and better...
Either way it's a reaaaally intense intro! When the first arrow hits it jumps to a whole new level. Chills. Holy shit. That ending really really changes everything. Goes from one of those ordinary (but good) chase and fight scenes to something I'm really immersing myself in. Looking forward to the real thing! Welcome back!!!

What a beastly beginning! :D If ever a particular scene started the right way this is definitely it. Short but vicious work!

DM's PM here on NG ya know. ;) But I do love these Bear-based bits of crazy, Christmas related and all as they are with this one! Was not expecting such a victim though. XD But that ending... hmmmmmm... horse head in bed like The Godfather? Whatever happened to Santa's big revenge? Not really catching that bit...

Dm's / PM's , tomato/tomahto :D and thank you for your review, We will do our best to clarify anything that might seem confusing in any future shorts. Well all's well that ends well... sorta! I for one do appreciate the witty grip too. And you caught it all on tape! Bad puns = good fun.

Well that was short. XD Can't say it's bad but.. very short. Animation's great. Maxine's got charm. Something longer with her in it and I'd be a watching willing.
