That one night was definitely worth it. :) Starts icy and chill, but the weapons of war soon come streaming in and everything changes... really cool how the title's reflected in the content. Wonder if there's any direct relation to the site here, a tribute to some older tracks, something...? Don't spot/hear the reference if there is one, but it does sound like something that could've been in a game like... well, any of the Pico ones. :P Awesome work! Happy Pico Day man!

DESHIEL responds:

I felt like a mix of metal brutality and goofy cartoon melodies would be a fit for a guy like Pico and his world. My recuring theme is that I add the word Uzi to my every Pico day entry, cuz its the only gun I asociate him with.

An impressive piece, though looking at that waveform... it's really on the edge regarding the loudness! Wonder if all frequencies really come through as well as they could like this. Love the brooding feel overall, but the sound does seem a bit thick; hard to pick out any particular bit in the mix.

Thank you for your review dude :D

A classy piece! Uplifting, easy rock music. The bass and funk guitar gives it an almost RHCP-like vibe towards the end (which is awesome). Not sure about U2, though the streamy style in the beginning does seem intended for that, but... I like it!

Ooh, I hear the RHCP you mentioned. I've been listening to a lot of their stuff lately, mostly Californication era. Thanks for the review!

A really nice tune but... really not that much like what I'd consider jazz. The swing groove is definitely there, and the piano, but maybe in keeping such a fast and steady pace it doesn't have that improvisational style that jazz usually does. It feels like... well I don't know what it reminds me of, but like something in an old Knight movie, or background music in a pompous cruise ship diner, though with a bit of a comedy tone in the first half... when the brass chimes in towards the end it gets really nostalgic though. Just that little bit... I can't place it, but it's memory-heavy. Ties in to a lot of feeling. I wish more of the track was like that final bit.. maybe kept on going a bit longer, and growing. It feels like it really has potential to build! But anyhow: nice work. This really turned into something special.

Thank you for the review! I'm glad the track was able to evoke such imagery for you.

A pretty grim and psychedelic-sounding intro! Though it just keeps going it never dulls down. Same melody, but it's like there's something new for each round it comes around... really cool.. It's like the Cypress Hill version of something that could've been in a Castlevania game.

thanks for the review, i was going to re-do this one but im too lazy. thats ussualy how i am for a lot of my songs sorry D:

An ominous-sounding loop/build-up! Short but intense. I like the booms, the occasional marching drums and (what sounds like) low vocal rumble too. Nice work!

Bosa responds:

Thank you! Yes this is quite short, but I will be producing a full length song soon like my usual work. Always appreciate your feedback and I look forward to hearing from you again.

Take care,
Jon

Another gentle piece, ambient and smooth, although... the way the melody keeps fading in/out (not sure what that effect is called?) sounds a bit off in my ears. Imagine it'd be better without. Smooth melody though!
